" My oh my, what do we have here?!" lily exclaims as she sees my outfit. " So how did you decide on that?" I am wearing a simple tank top with jeans, and boots. After I finished chewing a piece of candy she gave both of us I said " I decided if this interview was all about me, sorry calico, it might as well be me." I shrugged, " What?" Calico was enchanted by the flaming torches surrounding the stage. I chuckled and turned back to Lily " So are there any tributes that you are worried about?" I was worried this would come up. Of course there were the Careers, but I was mostly keeping tabs on people like the legendary Tick and Tock who are in the background but geniuses. But I didn't want the others to know that; I have to use the dumb card. " H mm, I don't know!!" In the corner of my eye, I saw Calico' s hand reaching toward his beloved flame. I slapped it " Down boy!" He pouted in the corner until Lily occupied him with a question. I zoned out and thought about the last couple days. Training was hard and have been working on my strong suits, but have kept it low key so that the tributes don't target me. I wonder what the arena will look like... " Hello? Brooke?!" my head snapped up " Heeey" The crowd laughed, thinking I was stupid. " Hi Brooke, do you have a special someone back home?" Oh god. Nooo! I though I wouldn't have to answer this! Whatever, if I'm gonna die, he might as well no. " Oh ya, you see... uuuh. There is one guy. Lily' s eye a sparkled, seeking more. I opened my mouth, preparing myself for probably the worst mistake of my life; and then Calico' s wish for fire was granted, his hands grasped the beloved flame as he danced around the stage, dodging peace keepers and saving my butt. I turned away from the entertaining show and told Lily' s surprised face " You shouldn't have given him candy." Then I walked off the stage and waited for Calico.
