Eva's PoV

I sat in my car, once in a while adjusting the mirrors or fidgeting uncomfortably. I was on the way to my moms for the weekend.

I soon pulled into the driveway, her house is only about ten miles from campus. I grabbed my purse and the small bag of clothes and toiletries that I had pre-packed.

I walked in and she greeted me with a warm smile, "Hello sweetheart!" she engulfed me in a warm hug and I dropped my two bags on the couch.

"So, how is college?" She asked me, placing two cups of tea on the island in the middle of the large kitchen.

"Oh its splendid! there are some really adorable boys attending too." I said and took a sip of my tea. I had to talk properly around her or she would make my ass concave like the buttons on the top of a McDonalds drink lid.

"Oh how so?" she asked and added a packet of sugar to her piping hot tea. "Well thereis this one-" I was cut off by my phone obnoxiously ringing and vibrating.

"Excuse me for one minute mum," I said picking up the phone. "Absolutely sweetheart." She said and put her already steaming tea into the microwave. When I turned around I rolled my eyes and answered the phone.

"What the absolute heck do you want Matthew?" I said as I grimmaced as the words tumbled out of my mouth. "I don't know when the fuck you turned into an english teacher but I just needed to warn you of something." He said. I could hear the slyness in his voice.

"What...is it?" I said sort of timidly.

"There is a bonfire this weekend, I hope you didnt let some of your items drift to my side of the room." He said coldly.

"I don't recall doing so, but if you touch anything I will make sure you die a horribly painful death." I nearly shouted into the phone and hung it up immediately.

"Sweetheart," My mom came racing over and looked at my face. "What is the matter sweetie?" She asked searching my eyes.

"Oh nothing mum, just an awful human being giving me a ring," I said and tossed my phone onto the sofa with my other stuff.

"He didn't seem like just a human being by the way you were talking to him." She replied while sliding a mug towards me, filled with hot chocolate, marshmallows and whipped cream.

"He is my roommate." I said while biting the dead skin off of my bottom lip nervously.

"You are rooming with a man?" She had a cold expression planted on her carved features. "Yes mum. I am." I said with an equally as cold expression on my face.

"I am contacting the head administrator. this cannot happen." She said as she stormed towards the phone. "Wait! Mum! Im not the only one." I said as she just started to punch in the numbers of my college campus.

"Are you kidding me?" she said putting the phone down. "Mum does it look like I'm kidding to you?" I said while drawing a circular pattern around my face with my finger.

"There are several girls on campus who share dorms with men. Please don't freak out, they just ran out of rooms" I said while walking calmly over to my purse. I grabbed it and rummaged through it to find my Chapstick. I glided it over my chapped lips and stuck it back into my purse. Kissing causes a chap.

I then walked up the stairs leaving my mom huffing in the living room about the unisex college dorms. I opened up my previously untouched dresser and picked out a pair of black lace panties and put them into my purse. I also grabbed a red lace thong and a black and red matching bra. I set my purse back on top of the dresser and went to the bottom drawer.

I grabbed a pair of pajama shorts and a purple tank top and changed. It was 9:30pm. I then untied my hair and removed my makeup and laid down in my bed. I grabbed my phone charger and plugged it in the wall and I flipped it onto do not disturb. I plugged in my headphones and turned on my music and slowly drifted off to sleep.
