Colby
I wake up to the sound of a knock at my door, I get up and open it to see Sam standing in the doorway.
"Sup."
"Jake's moving in."
My eyes widen, I have a huge crush on Jake and I have for like...years now, and I'm gonna be living with him.
"Bro you good?"
I run my finger through my hair and look at him.
"Y-yeah I'm ok."
"I was gonna ask if you wanted to go with me to pick him up from the airport."
"When?"
He looks at his phone.
"Like...now. Get pants on."
I walk over to my dresser and throw a pair of pants on, not even shutting my door, I then grab my phone and come out.
"I'm ready."
We go downstairs and get into the car.

We're now at the airport waiting for Jake to come out, every second of waiting I feel my heart moving into my stomach, I'm so nervous. "Colby are you ok?"
I stare out the window, I turn to him and nod. "I'm fine. Is it hot in here?"
I wipe the sweat off my forehead.
"Dude it's not even hot the ac is all the way up."
The car door opens, my heart starts to beat really fast and I go into a full blown panic, I take a deep breath and try to calm down. "What's up dudes."
Jake says shutting the door.
"What's up bro it's been so long."
All I can do is fist bump him, we then drive home.

Once we're home I help Jake carry in his stuff. "This house is nice man."
"Yeah, want me to show you your room?"
He smiles at me, I smile back.
"Sure."
We go into the house and I lead him to his room, once we get there I open the door and put down the bag I carried.
"Need help unpacking or anything?"
He shrugs.
"I'm good."
I leave his room and go straight to mine, closing the door and plopping onto my bed. Why do I have to panic, why? He's just a boy, a really cute boy, that I want to be next to...all the time. Like...out of all people I could like it's Jake, and now he lives with me, why! As I complain to myself my door opens.
"Wanna go out somewhere?"
Why not...why not go out with the boy I'm literally having a fit over, I sit up and scratch my head.
"Uh, sure where?"
He shrugs and sits next to me on the bed. "Where ever you want."
He says, I feel his hand touch mine, we look at each other.
"S-sorry."
I smile as his face turns a little pink.
"How about Carl's junior? It's really good."
At least I attempted to break the awkwardness, he nods.
"Ok I-I'll go get ready."
He walks out of my room and shuts the door, I lay back down and smile. His dimples are so cute.

It's been about five minutes since Jake left my room and I just finished getting ready to go, I walk out of my room and basically sprint over to Jake's, I knock. "Come in." I open the door, he grabs his phone and comes out. "Ready?" I nod, we leave.

We're now at Carl's junior and we just ordered our food, Sam ended up coming along with us, which I was kind of sad about, I wanted it to be just Jake and I. "So what've you guys been up to?" Jake asks, I shrug. "Nothing really just the same old exploring and stuff." Sam says, I nod. "Cool." He says, I accidentally hit someone's foot, Jake looks at me. "Sorry." I say, he just smiles. "It's fine." He says, we then get our food.

It's been like ten minutes and all of us we're done eating. "We all ready to go?" Sam asks, Jake and I nod and we leave. As we drive home Sam starts talking, I honestly just zone out and continue to unnoticeably stare at Jake, he starts to laugh a little. "Colby." He says, I stop looking at him. "Yeah?" I ask, he smiles at me. "Can I help you?" He asks, I shake my head, I feel his hand on the side of my leg, I look at him again, before I could move closer he takes it back and just looks away, I smile, but then I stop when I see his face, he looks pissed off with himself, we get home, Jake runs out of the car and into the house, Sam looks at me. "What's his issue?" He asks, I shrug and we go inside.
