MOON

I literally have it all,

I have friends,

I have a husband,

I have brothers,

a mother, the husbands of ma momma,

(who were once my crushes),

simply everything that a girl could wish for, but.

But I have nothing,

cause see if you ask me,

"who really knows you?"

I'll tend to say, no one,

you 're surprised,

I know,

but if you think you know me,

then why would you let me die while you are watching,

you'll say you never saw,

and of course, you didn't,

you never look sick deep.

Now that you have the world in your hands,

and more at your feet,

you can't seem to see people like me that seem to never fit.

It's more of a feeling than a fact,

but do not you know the say,

"what is inside hurt more",

and now that I think about it,

it hurts more to convince myself that you care,

than it did to discover you actually don't.

I understand you,

living with me means walking in the dark,

and forgetting the definition of light,

and yes u tried,

applause for that,

but it was easy to do until the stars came along;

see even the moon shines in the dark alone

and its beauty slow dancing with the dark,

like lovers;

but wait till the stars appear;

the moon,

its beauty fades not,

but it now sways and swims with the stars,

like it has been waiting all day for them

never remembering the dark that held it,

before the existence of stars.

So I understand you for leaving me behind,

shouldn't have expected more than that,

I know u didn't mean to,

it's fine I hold u, not guilt,

but please stop pretending you didn't do it,

stop pretending I still fit by your side,

like you still bear my darkness with pride,

plz stop pretending that you can squeeze me between the stars,

dammit am there;

you have just stopped seeing me,

So I understand,

starless nights are over,

all I ask is you quite playing the hypocrite,

saying they are not.

Kinda hurts more,

to scream every day to remind you of ma existence;

than it does to leave.

you see....

NEVER MIND.
