Why I don't buy finished barrel horses.
Well, for one.
They are SUPER EXPENSIVE!!!
And I get it I would pay a pretty penny for a nice horse, you get what you pay for! Don't go buy a green colt😂
2,500 for just for a finished horse not even to put miles on. So. Nothing fancy. Just knowing the pattern.
25,000 for a nice running horse!
So anything between 2,500-5MILLION dollars!
You not only pay for training and experience but for bloodlines.
Everyone has different training methods and I don't have the time to go and debunk everything about them😂
But.
98% of barrel horses are hot.
And basically "uncontrollable."
Or very "eager"
So in short. Very unreliable and unstable to ride.
All the horses know is
Barrel barrel barrel
Run run run
Fast fast fast
Pain pain pain
They don't get a break! And messes up how the horse runs and how the rider survives😂
