He waited like it was tomorrow.

The more he waits, the more he hates the smell of lavender.

The cicadas was heard from a mile away, entering his ears as a melodic tune. The sapphire blue sky looked unreal, yet it felt like it was. The limestone sun shines heavenly above him, his arm laid on his forehead as it converted as a cover for his enlightening eyes. He smiles to himself, the joyous glisten of once he called as his childhood; beautiful yet such a short amount of time.

This, felt like heaven.

He smiled childishly, looking at the silver blonde haired boy that laid beside him in the flourishing grass fields. The boy giggled in his sight, letting out a short breath. "Taehyung, don't you wish this could never end? It's feels like paradise."

"I don't think that's possible, Jimin. I'm going away for a while, do you mind taking care of them for a bit? I'll be back, I promise." Taehyung moved his hand up towards the boy, pinky raised up as Jimin gladly accepted it. They laughed at the sudden dramatic scene, Jimin eventually didn't believe in his claims and goodbyes, not until it eventually happened.

Taehyung stood outside the alleyway right next to the train tracks, a train passes by making his hair blow away from the impact. He caught the stare of a familiar woman on the train, simply smiling and mouthing something at the lady before the train completely disappeared.

He looked back, hoping for his friend to show up one last time before his departure, but time was too fast. Taehyung turned around, facing the dark alleyway that serves as a portal to an unknown place Taehyung never expected to go to, but it was too sudden.

He heavily sighed, slightly kicking the dirt with a grievous frown before taking steps into the alleyway, tears stained onto his cheeks as he disappears like cold mist.

"No, it can't be! He must be somewhere near, he just wouldn't disappear like that! Taehyung, where is he?! Help me find him, please!" Jimin pleaded, kneeling down on the cold hard floor, sobbing his heart out while he covered his face. Hoseok hugged his dongsaeng, his comforting warmth helped Jimin calm down but it'll work temporarily.

"I should've believed him, I should've rushed over there when I had the chance before he left. I should've stopped him." He tells himself, sniffing as his arms encircled his hyung's torso while resting his chin on his shoulder. "You shouldn't doubt yourself too much, chim. You didn't mean to, you didn't mean to ignore it." Hoseok whispered, patting his back.

"Hyung, will he be alright?" Jimin asked, slightly feeling better that awhile ago. Hoseok simply smiled, "Of course he'll be, he's Kim Taehyung." Jimin chuckled at his hyung's sudden say.

Taehyung, will you be alright?

He questioned again, receiving a slight chuckled from him as he trails his eyes on the worried boy, smiling warmly.

Probably, probably not. Who knows?

I'm already getting really strong sad vibes from this book when I just got the opportunity to start it. I'm soft, don't touch me.
