Jacob's POV

Just when Troye left, I saw Connor approaching me. His hair had gotten blonder since I had last saw him, but his smile and his big green eyes hadn't changed a bit. As soon as our eyes met, we ran into each other's arms, both bursting into happy laughs. Connor and I had been friends basically since we were born. We learned to walk, talk and write together and we would spend all of our free time with one another. We even came out together, although there was never anything romantic between the two of us. No matter what happened, we were always there to support each other. I hadn't seen him in months. He had recently moved to Hawaï to be with his boyfriend, who I had seen on multiple occasions during which I clearly saw the strong chemistry there was between them . The pair really made a sweet couple. Plus, his boyfriend had always been really nice to me, so much so that I had invited him to go see the concert with us. Troye was also Connor's celebrity crush, even though I was pretty sure I was the one who was the most obsessed with the singer. «Where is your boyfriend?», I asked when I suddenly realized the absence of the boy. «Yeah... we kind of broke up...», he answered. I was shocked. I couldn't believe that the people I thought made the cutest couple had broken up, nor that Connor hadn't even call to tell me the news. I wished I could have been there when it happened to comfort him! Tears started to form in my eyes as I thought of the heartbreak he had to go through alone. «Actually,...I broke up with him», he added. I was surprised. Usually, Connor would get really attached to the person he was dating and I was pretty sure he had never broken up with anyone before. Had Ryan cheated? Poor Connor...« What happened?», I asked, trying to not seem too pitiful . He looked at me for a good 20 seconds before saying:«I kind of realized I had strong feelings for someone else.»

I miss the times when Troye and Connor were friends... so I decided to include him in my story!
