Infestation

In the middle of Chelsea's driveway stood three of her good friends and neighbourhood play-pals To the left was Brittany Richtman, a cute blonde girl with big blue eyes. Her nickname was "Bubbles" because she reminded everyone of The Powerpuff Girl similarly named. She acted just like her too; a sweet, shy girl who was a crybaby at times.
In the middle was Christen Garden, Chelsea's "one and only". He had shaggy brown curls that framed his chubby face so perfectly, but today he had gotten a haircut. Chelsea still loved him no matter what his hair looked like. His eyes were as green and evergreen tree leaves, so dark and beautiful.
And to the right was Chelsea's "bffl", Aria Marties, a tall red-haired girl with hazel brown eyes that shine in the sunlight. Aria had been Chelsea's friend ever since she moved into the neighbourhood at age six. They had been playmates growing up and Chelsea would stick by Aria's side no matter what.

"Hey guys!" Chelsea greeted them. Aria and Christen waved.

"Happy birthday, Chelsea!!" Brittany exclaimed, throwing confetti up into the air. Chelsea giggled along with Aria and Brittany.

"Thanks! Check out what I got!" Chelsea lifted her tamagotchi from her belt loop to show the three. They all gasped in unison.

"My older sister has one of those! Its so hard to keep the little animal alive!" Christen told Chelsea while poking at the screen of the toy.

"Y-your mom got you a really c-cute toy!" Aria stuttered out happily. Chelsea nodded and looked down the street.

"We should probably get going to the field! I wanna play hide-and-seek!" Chelsea said, dropping the tamagotchi to her side and beginning to walk out of the driveway. Her friends agreed and followed behind her. Chelsea felt like such a leader walking in front of her group; It is her birthday after-all, why not let her lead the way?
