hello and welcome to my first attempt at writing anything chanlix related 👨🦯
this is probably gonna suck but im bored and miss my aussie boys :(⚣
felix was terrified.
no, actually, terrified was an understatement.
the small boy had, somehow, ended up at some party that his friend dragged him to. no, he didn't like parties. but for jisung's sake, he went.
"sungie, how long are you planning on staying?" felix mumbles, playing with the hem of his sweater in an attempt distract himself from the loud music and people screaming.
"wha- lixie, we just got here~~" jisung huffs, cheeks puffing out into a childish pout. felix ignores it, though, hands slipping into his pockets.
"i-i know its just,, so loud-" he mutters, biting at his lip as a force of habit. jisung sighs, disappointment evident on his face as he nods slowly.
"just an hour. then we can head out and catch a movie or somethin', okay?" he smiles, and the younger boy nods.
to make felix feel a little better, jisung promised to stay with him while they were here. he obviously knew it wouldn't help much, but anything to help him feel a bit less uncomfortable.
the two stayed in the kitchen for majority of the time, felix sitting on the counter as jisung stood next to him. the younger of the pair had zoned out at some point, not even realizing the figure that had come over to chat with them. well, mainly jisung.
"lixie," jisung spoke up, pulling the boy out of his gaze to look over. "this is my friend jeongin! he's in the same algebra class as us." he giggles, arm draped around the other boy's shoulders.
felix smiles shyly, "im felix," he introduces, almost mumbling. jeongin nods, smiling back at him. he doesnt speak, though. instead he whispers something into jisung's ear before bidding them both a goodbye and walking away, back into the crowd of people.
felix watches him leave, pursing his lips.
was it because i mumbled? he thinks, biting down on his bottom lip anxiously.
"im sorry for dragging you here," jisung sighs, hopping up onto the counter next to the smaller.
felix shakes his head, "no, i wanted to come. im sorry for being such a..." he pauses, trying to think of the right word.
"downer?" jisung finishes the other's thought, receiving a playful punch in the shoulder.
"yeah. a downer." felix giggles, resting his shoulder on the elder's shoulder. jisung lets his head lay on top of his friend's, a small yawn slipping past his lips.
"should we get going? we can skip the movie if you're too tired, i wont mind." felix whispers, hand reaching out slowly to poke at jisung's knee.
the elder lets out a small giggle, shaking his head. "im okay, bub. i just need to drink some water and i'll be fine." he protests.
