I got into the car and drove away. I promised myself that I wouldn't look back. I drove faster and faster. Away from my past.

5 years later...
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock ringing. "Riiiiing!!!" I get out of bed and take a quick cold shower, just like every other day now in my life. It's not like I regretted what I did five years ago, but sometimes I still think about it. A happy family broken.
At school I met my best friend Claire. She has been my friend since kindergarten. She knows everything that has happened to me. I practically live the same life as her.
As I find her standing by my locker, i smile. Is it weird that I have missed her since yesterday? We say hey to each other, and talk about the things that have happened. We hear the bell ring 5 minutes later, and Claire and I hurry to class.
"Well class ready for our trip to Canada tomorrow?" The teacher asks. Nobody replies. We all hate waking up at five in the morning. It is simply too early!!!
