There's This Guy I Love

There's this guy I love.

He's a charmer but a total snob.

He has this cool short black hair that’s always in a mess.

Piercing black eyes which penetrate your soul.

And a smile that is able to make your heart somersault.

There's this guy I love.

I hope that he is aware that this girl exists.

I hope that someday he’ll be able to smile at me and say hi.

But I hope that he won’t find out that my heart is crazily into him.

For I know that he won’t be able to return these feelings of mine.

There’s this guy I love.

I once tripped in the stairs.

Luckily, a handsome young man caught me.

Like always, my heart stopped for a second.

And that’s all because of him.

There's this guy I love.

I watch him slowly as he walks through the crowd.

'Why can't he be mine?'

That's the question I always ask as I stare at him from afar.

Tell me you also feel the same about me.

And I'll willingly give anything and everything you'll ask for.

There’s this guy I love.

Finally, I was able to find the guts to tell him.

These feelings I had kept hidden all these years.

But sadly, there’s this girl he loves.

She hugged him, kissed him and said the words that I had always longed to hear from him.

I love you.
