17.The Ones Left Behind.

•~6 P.M,Lodge residence~•
There they sat: betty cooper best friends-or I guess now they would be ex friends in Bettys mind. Veronica lodge, Bettys ride or die, best friend since diapers, always know everything about each other and what's going on without even having to say anything. Archie Andrews, they shared a kiss once but stayed friends, star football player and Bettys friends since diapers also; Yes, he and Veronica fight about it all the time. Kevin Keller, met in kindergarten, the photographer for the blue and gold and is always at Betty about dating. Cheyrl Blossom, cheer captain, was a bitch until 5th grade than Betty became her best friend everyone is scared of them... well more Cheyrl; always gives Betty style tips and criticises her but Betty knows she's just trying to be a good friend. Fights anyone who messes with her friends so yes she has been in detention and suspended A LOT. "Guys-We haven't seen Betty in over a week... thats suspicious" Veronica says as she collapses on the couch next to Cheyrl. "Ronnie, her parents said she's sick" Cheyrl replies. "We haven't received even a text Cheyrl!" Veronica defends and Archie opens his mouth to talk but quickly shuts it knowing if he disagrees with Veronica she would likely punch him. "Andrews. Talk" Veronica demands and he chuckles "I got a text from her the night after the party. She said that she wouldn't be able to talk for awhile because she.. was... going away?" His voice slowly fades as he realises the obvious lie that say in front of him "there's something wrong, isn't there?" He asks concerned "yeah" Veronica says sadly "you lot are idiots, I have already started a damn investigation" Kevin says turning off the tv "what?" Cheyrl asks "working with Betty everyday changes you. I call her Nancy drew for a reason and she had secrets" he explains and everyone looks at him "Kevin... what the hell do you mean?" Archie asks and Kevin sighs "I can't tell you guys but if you wanna go to my house I'll show you my betty board" he says "Betty board?" Veronica chuckles "shut up. Im looking for a new name, come on assholes" they arrive at the Keller house and Kevin leads them to the basement "damn, I knew your dad was a dad but I didn't know he was a daddy" Veronica says and Kevin looks at her disgusted "ew, you are gross. Get Jesus" he says fake gagging and she chuckles. "I know for a fact it isn't you using this work out equipment and it's quite obvious so it's only daddy Keller. I'm not going to deny that your father is hot" she says crossing her arms and he scoffs "no" he says flat. "It's over here" they walk over to a wall where Kevin pulls off a blanket to reveal a pin board with papers, strings and photos stuck onto it. "Look who's Betty cooper two-point- oh" Cheyrl grins "say what you want but this could save her life." Kevin replies "Kevin... why is there a picture of Jughead on here?" Archie asks taking a picture of a certain raven haired boy off of the board "you mean the king of the serpents?" Kevin asks putting it on the board again "don't touch it, you'll ruin it" he finishes and Archie rolls his eyes "Jughead isn't... Jughead is on the football Team- he isn't a serpent" Archie says "uhh yes he is. No one knows because he wouldn't still be on the team if they did" "how do you?" Veronica asks "Betty told me" Kevin answers "how does Betty know?" She questions and Kevin sighs "I don't
know" he answers getting annoyed. "Alright mr man period, it's just a question about you know, our missing best friend" she defends and he rolls his eyes "why is his picture on the board though?" Archie asks "that's what I need to figure out arch. All I know is whatever happened to Betty... has something to do with him" Kevin says and they all look at the board carefully "we need to know what happened to Betty" Veronica says "we need to know what he did". Jughead was smart but not always when it came to crime. He didn't know Bettys friends like she did, if he had he would've known to never leave them behind. No one fucks with their friend... especially her.

Yes, this is shit. I'm sorry but I'm having writers block and breakdowns a lot so it's the best i can do right now. Love you guys and I'll try to make the next chapter better it just might take some time. I post this on my main insta account misfit_jones_aus if you wanna follow it I guess.
