You sat in your office, going over Tony's schedule for tomorrow for the release of the newest mark of his suit. He always made a big deal about a new suit, throwing a party amongst the Avengers to celebrate a break through in new tech. He always had you there, since you'd been his greatest friend. You became close with all of the Avengers, they would call you for help and advice but you were you closest with Steve and Natasha. You get excited when you see everybody together because it was always so fun for you to hang out. You were so glad you lived in the tower with everyone. Getting ready to pack up to go up to your room, you were double and triple checking everything was in order when you got a call.
"(Y/F/N) (Y/L/N) speaking, how may Stark Industries assist you?" you said in a monotone voice staring at your paper work.
"Hey, good news and bad news. Which first?" Tony said with just as flat of a voice as you.
"Oh god, Tony. Uhm bad I guess." you said while placing two fingers to pinch the bridge of your nose.
"Bad news is I need you to stay late to help me with final adjustments on the suit." he said bluntly. "But the good news is you get to spend the night with me and we can order your favorite for dinner." his voice seemed happier than it did when he said the previous statement.
"Well, I guess it looks like you owe me some (your favorite take out place), Stark." he rolled his eyes and you smiled to yourself.
"Okay, sounds good to me. Should I order it now?" you could hear his smile in his voice.
"Sure, you can order it now." you pushed a wild strand of hair behind your ear.
"Okay, meet me down in the lab in 10 minutes?" he questioned making sure you didn't have any last minute things to take care of.
"Yeah, I'll grab my stuff and head down now." you said while closing your files and shutting down your computer.
"Perfect." he sighed lightly in relief, glad that you were able to stay and help him.
"Okay, awesome! See you." you said before hanging up, grabbing your purse, phone, charger, laptop bag, and your spare sweatshirt.
You opened the door to your office, making your way to the elevator to go down to the lab. You pressed the button to open the elevator. You waited as the door opened, letting yourself in and hitting the button to the floor to the lab. Once the elevator opened again, you were greeted by Tony in a t shirt and sweats, coming toward to help with your bags. He took your laptop bag and placed it on the empty desk that you usually took when he had you in the lab. You headed toward the desk and placed your bags down.
"Look at you all comfy." you laughed looking at Tony in his comfortable attire.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." he laughed lightly. "Ya know, no one said you couldn't go change." he said looking at you matter-of-factly.
"You're lucky I don't punch you. I didn't have time you gave me ten minutes." you laughed teasingly.
"True, but you can go up and change if you'd like. I could've waited the extra five minutes if you'd asked." he rolled his eyes lightly and pointed toward the elevator.
"Yeah, okay. Then I'm gonna go change." you rolled your eyes back at him.
"You're doing a lot of talking and not a lot of walking, (Y/N)." he teased playfully, leaning into the elevator to press the button while you crossed your arms.
