While Jack and Alison were having their conversation, unbeknownst to them, the entire street had been blocked off, with cops cordoning off traffic. Down the street in an alleyway, the MCC was parked, and the FBI had set up total audio and visual capture within minutes. A sniper team was on the top of the building across the street, aiming at the window where DeLancie was staying at. All they were waiting for was the green light. Holloway stared at the live feed from the cameras that had been set up. So far, there had been no movement inside the apartment, and no one had attempted to enter or leave the building so far. Ralston walked up next to him, and spoke to Holloway. "You know he won't come quietly." Holloway stared at him. "Of course, they never do. But these guys aren't NYPD, they're the best of the best." Ralston looked back at Holloway, not batting an eye. "DeLancie is better, you know that. Your team is going in there to get themselves killed." Holloway frowned. "Unless you come up with a better idea, smart guy, this is the only way we can secure DeLancie, so why don't you just sit back, shut up, and let us do the work, huh?" Ralston paused, then put his hands up, sitting back down. Taking a headset, Holloway spoke into it. "This is Holloway to Charlie Team. You have a green light, I repeat, green light, go, go go!"

A team of men dressed in SWAT gear emerged from the alleyway a few blocks down from the motel, and ran up towards the front door, men stacking up on either side. One of them produced a large battering ram and broke down the door, rushing into the lobby, aiming their weapons. "FBI!Everyone down, now!" Charlie One shouted, and the receptionist plus a few people in the lobby raised their hands and dropped to the ground. "Lobby clear!" Charlie Two shouted, and Charlie One motioned to his team. "Charlies Three and Four, check first floor, Two and Five, with me to the second floor." Each team moved up to their respective floors, their helmet cams sending live feeds back to the MCC. Holloway watched all of them, and then spoke into his headset. "Sniper Team One, any sign of movement from the apartment?" The main spotter responded. "Negative, MCC. No movement." Charlies One, Two and Five moved through the hallway to the end, stacking up behind the door. "This is Charlie One, breaching target room." He whispered into his mic. Charlie Two rushed up quietly to the door, placing a small piece of what appeared to be white putty on the lock. Moving back behind Charlies One and Five, he pulled out a small detonator. "Breaching in three, two, one." He whispered before clicking the button, the putty exploding with a small pop, blowing the lock and pushing the door open.

The three men rushed in and aimed their weapons, looking around the small room. "FBI!" Charlie One shouted, and saw that the entire room was dark. Flipping the light switch on the wall did nothing. "Power's off. Must have killed the fuses in this room. Switch on lights." Turning on the flashlights on the side of their MP5s, the three-man team started sweeping through the room. Holloway couldn't see anything through their cameras save for an empty room. Frowning, he knew there was no way in hell they could have gotten out of that room without anyone seeing them. "Charlie One, do a complete sweep of the room, then search the rest of the building. They may have changed rooms." Charlie One responded. "Copy, MCC." As the three of them went through the room, they didn't know that what they were looking for was directly behind them. Earlier, Jack had noticed something behind Alison on the building across the street as he'd been looking out the window. "Someone's on the roof." He said in a low voice, and Alison didn't flinch or turn around. "Shit...they followed you. We're in a blind spot right now, so they can't see us. I need you to listen to me carefully." Staying away from the window, Alison had made Jack help her move the fridge, seeing a small part of the wall rotting from mildew. Breaking it with the help of her gun, they both had managed to just squeeze into the small space and move the fridge back just before the SWAT team had breached the room. Killing the power had helped as well, since the damage was a lot less noticeable in the dark. That was, if they didn't look too closely.

Jack tried not to breathe as loudly as he heard the SWAT team talking to each other, clearing the room, hoping they would leave so they could get out. Suddenly, something pushed gently against his shoulder, and he turned to see Alison, her face slightly visible in the dark. She motioned with her hands down to the floor, and held up two fingers. Jack realized that she knew there were two others downstairs, and sighed, knowing that they had all the exits covered. There was no way out...unless....Jack suddenly motioned to Alison, and placed his foot up against the back of the fridge. Holding up his hand, he waited until he heard what he was listening for: the footsteps of one of the SWAT agents walking into the kitchen. Alison got the idea, and placed her foot up against the back of the fridge as well. Jack held up three fingers, then two, then one, then clenched his fist. When he did, both he and Alison pushed, and there was a large creaking noise as the fridge tipped over, falling on top of the SWAT agent and making him cry out as he was partially crushed, trapped underneath it, as Jack and Alison pulled out their pistols and got ready for the firefight.

Suddenly, Holloway heard something on the cameras, and saw the SWAT team focus on one of their men who was now under a fridge, screaming in pain. "The hell's going-" Then, gunfire erupted inside the apartment, which was confirmed by the sniper team. Holloway held his headset. "Sniper Team One, do not fire unless you have a clean shot!" Charlie One, however, was spraying all of his bullets in the direction of the kitchen. Seeing Charlie Two get crushed by a fridge and watching the two targets come out of the wall guns blazing had caught him more than a little off-guard. Jack and Alison had flipped the table, taking cover behind it as they shot back at the two SWAT agents. Jack wasn't sure what to do, and he was almost out of bullets. Then, he saw Alison grab two canisters on the side of the SWAT agent's belt that was under the fridge. "Shut your eyes!" She shouted as she pulled the pin on one of them and threw it over the table. Charlie One's eyes widened as he saw the object flying towards them. "GRENADE!" He shouted as both he and Charlie Five dove for cover, the object exploding with a flash of light. Jack winced, expecting a huge explosion, but instead seeing a large light flash behind him. A flashbang grenade. Motioning to Jack, Alison ran out of the room, Jack following close behind. Hearing footsteps coming up the stairs, Alison dropped the other flashbang down the stairwell, hearing it go off as she looked around, then shot a window that led to the fire escape. Running to it and hearing the cries of the agents downstairs, Jack followed her down into the back alley, seeing several cops and agents down the street spotting them. "FREEZE!" They shouted as Jack and Alison ran, and Jack realized this was going to be a long night.
