Adam's P. O. V
I'm not sure what Taya's game is or why she felt the need to toy with my hormones but.. fuck! The way she is looking at me and biting her lip as she is getting undressed. I know this is some sort of "you can look but you can't have it" stunt she is pulling but I can't take my eyes off of her. There is something about her that draws me to her.. It was more then her tight, fit body, her curves, her ass, her tits, her long black curly hair and those full, pouty, red, lipstick covered lips.. It's something in her hauntingly beautiful gray and blue mixed eyes.. I can tell she is a little drunk but she knows exactly what she's doing.. She stands in front of me on the board and turns her back to me and all I can see is her long black curls hanging down her back and her nice round ass through her red tight lace panties.. I watch her stretch her arms out to the sides and my breath catches in my throat as she falls back into the water with a splash.. The water swallows her body and I watch her flip herself around to swim my way.. Her long smooth legs moving like a frogs under the water and her hair in long black waves behind her.. Once she makes it to my end of the pool her head pops up and she pushes her hair back from her face..
" You should try it.. You'll like it.. I just did. " She smirks and bits her lower lip again.. Damn! She is playing hard.. Ok girl so you want to play?.. Game on.. I think to myself and stand up to look down at her.
I lick my lips and hold eye contact with her as I reach down to unzip my pants and I can't help but grin when I see her lips part and her chest poke out as she takes a deep breath.. I undo the button and let my pants fall to the deck as I step out of them leaving me in my black underwear.. All at once I take off running and hit the diving board. I hold my breath and jump... I open my eyes as I glide through the lit water and swim toward her. When I break the surface of the water a wide grin spreads across my face. The look in Taya's eyes is like a deer caught in the headlights..
Taya's P. O. V
Adam dives off the diving board and swims my way. I watch as he pops up from the cool water slashing my face a little.. Oh shit! What do I do now. His grin is kinda cute.. Wait what did I just say?! OK maybe I've drank a little too much I'm not thinking straight.. Oh God.. He is moving in closer so I slowly back away thinking he would take the hint.. No it only make his grin turn to a full on cocky smirk and him to move in more until I feel my back against the cool concrete wall.. Fuck back off Adam!..
" Do you have no concept of personal space Levine?" I squeak.. Shit really Taya?
" Does my nearness bother you?" He whispers.
" Just the sight of you bothers me Adam. " I snap harshly.
" If you hate me so much.. Why do you want me do bad?" He asks and a red hot blush creeps up my cheeks.. What an asshole.. So damn full of himself.
" You're delusional.. What in the hell makes you think I want you?! " I snap a little too defensively and I can't help but bit my lip as he moves in closer to place one hand on either side of my head on the wall.
" Oh really Taya?.. You don't want me?.. Then why did you put on that little show just now?.. Why are you shaking from my nearness?.. Why is your face such a beautiful shade of red?.. And why haven't you swam away?.. Your mouth and you attitude say no but you body betrays you.. It may not be tonight.. Or even a week from now.. But I will have you Taya.. Mark my words beautiful.. You are mine. " He breaths the last few words in almost a whisper. I feel a tightening feeling in my stomach.. Oh shit.. He's going to kiss me... What am I going to do?.. Play the game Taya! My inner voice yells and I feel a grin spread across my face..
Adam leans in and holds his lips mere inches from mine almost as if he were daring me to protest.. God I wanted to but I couldn't and he grins before presses his soft firm lips to mine. I try my best to make my mind go somewhere else anywhere but here at this moment.. I try not to think about the way his tongue was now tracing my lips in an effort to open them, the way his left hand was now on my right hip pulling me in closer as he steadied himself with his right hand still passed to the wall, how good he smells, my mind is racing and before I know it my lips slowly part and I feel this tongue slip into my mouth finding mine.. He tastes of a mix of toothpaste, alcohol, cigarettes and weed but I like it.. I find myself reaching up to wrap my arms around his neck.. And I let myself kiss him back reaching my right hand up to tangle in his hair.. My head is spinning, my breathing heavy, I feel my leg wrap around his waist and I hear a deep moan rise from his throat..
" What the hell Tay!" I hear Ragen yell and I pull away to see the look of disgust on her face.
" What do you want a Ray can't you see I'm busy. " I snap hoping that this moment hurts her as much as the two comments she made to me tonight hurt me.
I can tell that it worked Ragen is pissed at me.. Maybe even hates me at this point but I don't care.. I want her to know how it feels to be made feel like shit.. I watch the tears build in her eyes and her turn to run back into the house.. When she is gone Adam leans in to kiss me again but this time I put my hand on his chest to hold him at bay.
" Stop.. I can't do this. " I say and watch a confessed look come over him.
" What?.. Why? Because it upset Ragen? I don't want Ragen.. I want you Taya." He says looking right into the eyes.
" Stop Levine.. just don't.. It was all a game.. I was using you to hurt her like she hurt me.. This kiss.. It meant nothing.. It means nothing.. Ok?" I tell him and even as the words leave my mouth I'm not even sure if I believe them..
" Sure it doesn't Taya.. That's bullshit and you know it.. It may have started out as a plot for payback but that kiss.. Was real.." He snaps and swims away..
I swallow hard and turn to pull myself up out of the pool. My body feels heavy and I'm not sure if it's from the water or all of the shit that tonight has piled on my shoulders.. I am dripping wet and I bend over to pick up my clothes.. I don't bother to look for Adam or for anyone else for that matter.. I walk into the house and pick up my boots and head for the door.. As I reach for the knob I hear the sound of wet feet in the hallway behind me.. I know it's Adam but I don't dare turn to look at him.
" I mean what I said Taya I won't give up.. You're mine now." He declares and I jerk the door open to walk out..
