Runa is basically the narrator and she'll appear at times throughout this compilation of stories with Noemi working in the cafe where she does her work. Or maybe sometimes they show up in stories without working anything out as the Hanahaki Disease affects Runa leaving flowers sprouting randomly from her body and it slowly deteriorates her memory.
Also, any unreadable things are meant to be difficult to read because Runa struggles with memory loss as a side effect of removing her client's feelings. When she removes their feelings, her memory of them fades, so minor characters and other facts (most likely having to do with that certain emotion) might be 'scribbled' out or written in a close to illegible font. Minor character's names will be written in a way which will be hard for you to put a name on them!
Hoshino Himari is their close friend and professional doctor who helps them deal with any difficult jobs and fixes Runa up after dealing clients who affect her. She works wherever the cafe goes as she has a room in the cafe but enjoys living in different places and making the most of the country they have decided to stay in.
Runa speaks different languages in most stories, as their coffee shop "moves around". Noemi speaks Italian and Japanese to Runa and relies on her for translation help. Noemi uses Italian lots, especially for nicknames and random words here and there.
Runa takes different last names as she moves around and there may be times where she'll change her name from Runa to Luna if the coffee shop moves out of Asia
