another harumatsu story except its actually good (hopefully)

Chapter 1

Harumi was walking through the halls when she noticed a certain pink haired girl walking with a small brunette.

When the two walked past Harumi, Matsuri gave the senior a weird look. Something in the pinkettes eyes made the Taniguchi feel weird. And shes being doing this for the past week.

Since Yuzu wasn't at school due to a cold, Harumi had to un-wantingly deal with the two girls. The young Aihara knew how to resolve problems better than Harumi in everyway, so that made it 10× harder for her.

Anyway, Harumi dismissed the situation and walked to the cafeteria.

Once the brunette walked into the cafeteria, she immediately spotted the two young woman she was looking for. I mean, the two stand out a lot in the crowd.

Matsuri had bright, pastel hair. Unlike every other student. And Nene was probably talking the loudest out of anyone in the whole school.

Harumi made her way to the table that her friends were sitting at. Making the probably regretful choice of sitting next to Matsuri.

Minutes later, Harumi and Nene had started up a conversation about Yuzu and how they'd go and visit the blonde after school. The brunettes talked about what they'd bring their ill friend, which resulted in Nene gushing on about HaruYuzu again.

Though...When the freshman was talking about the not-so-tolerable topic, Harumi felt a strong gaze upon her. She knew damn well it was Matsuri.

Looking to her side, the smaller girl immediately turned her head away from her beloved senpai. And Harumi knew the freshman wasn't looking at anyone else, since, while some of the girls in this school were freaking attractive to no end. Matsuri only ever had eyes on Harumi, and Harumi alone.

No exceptions.

Harumi sometimes thought Matsuri had a crush on her. Which wouldn't be surprising.

The constand groping, the teasing, and the way Matsuri normally acts whenever the Senior comes in contact with her. But other times, Harumi just threw the thought away and assumed she was just toying with her.

Nonetheless, the brunette spoke up as Nene kept on going about HaruYuzu.

"why do you keep staring at me like that?"

The question caught the pinkette off guard, so she tried pretending as if she hadn't heard Harumi. That didn't go well though.

"i know you heard me. Don't pretend like you didn't." the Taniguchi quickly replied.

"so what if i am!?" Matsuri asked, raising her voice

"its...weird, okay? It sometimes makes me think you have a crush on me or something." The brunette bluntly stated.

As soon as the comment slipped into Matsuris ear then out, she immediately got up and left the cafeteria. She didn't want to admit anything here. Or, in front of Nene whilst she was talking about her 'OTP'.

Shit, why are feelings like this so complicated?
