Pop!
That was the sound Nate heard as he dropped down onto the ground. That was the sound of creation, the sound which brought Nate to existence. The sound which slowly faded as Nate stood there taking in his surroundings.
"What? Where am I?" Nate questioned in confusion. Around him stood tall blocky trees, which casted dark shadows under a giant square sun. The grass below his crunched as he walked forward, observing more of where he was.
Nate couldn't remember anything before the sudden pop which brought him into life, although he did have the urge to punch a tree for some reason.
"Okay, so this is normal I guess." Nate said hesitantly as he hit the tree in front of him. The tree slowly began to crack with each hit, and then it broke, landing on the ground as a tiny floating cube.
Strangely, the tree didnt seem to collapse. It just floated there in mid air. Walking forward, Nate headed towards the cube to pick it up, instead the cube flew towards him, flying into his hand.
"Woah, neat! Definitely worth the pain!" Nate gasped. He continued to punch down the tree until it was no more than just leaves. "Okay, what do I do with these blocks?"
Looking down to the ground, Nate punched it. Just as the tree before, it slowly crumbled, and after a few seconds, floated in the air as a tiny block. "So I know I can break things, now can i.." Instead of punching, Nate gently tapped the ground holding the block of Oak, and, the block appeared where he had tapped, back to it's normal size."Build? Yes I can!"
Nate was thrilled by this world, and curious. Which led to more questions. Walking forward, Nate searched for more surprises, leading to his next discovery.
"Oh wow, cute!" Nate exclaimed, rushing forward toward a herd of white creatures."Sheep!"
Without hesitation Nate attempted to pet the sheep which gathered around a large patch of grass. "Bahh!" The sheep howled, not in delight, in pain. Bouncing back, it flashed red, and dashed away from Nate.
"I didn't mean too.." Nate quietly said, looking down an his blocky fists. Then he noticed something. On his fist was a square. The square was made up of slightly smaller squares, two on the bottom, and two on the top. Staring at the square, he decided to tap on it with his other hand.
Suddenly, the square popped off of his hand, and grew large in front of him. "What is this?" Nate gazed at the square. He thought about the wood block. Appearing in his hand, he wondered. He then lifted it towards on of the smaller squares, and it flew into it. What replaced the Oak was a block which was lighter brown striped with horizontal lines.
"Wood?" He guessed. Full of questions, Nate went to gather more wood, and put it in what he now called his mobilized crafter. "So what if I put a wood block in every square?"
Doing so brought quite an interesting result. Placing it down, he saw that it was like his mobilized crafter, but had more tiny squares in, a three by three workbench. "Bigger crafting table, better materials!" And that statement turned out to be true. Soon Nate learned how to craft a sword and an axe.
"Epic! Now all I need is a home!" Nate said gleefully as he chopped down trees, leaving the leaves floating. After chopping down a couple of trees, Nate had more than enough wood to build him a home. Looking around, he shook his head,"I can't build a home here, too many trees."
So Nate set off, in search for somewhere not too crowded but still had trees for him to survive. It was quite difficult but he soon found a flat patch of ground which stood near a large forest, and also was very close to a desert biome. Taking out his wood, he started to build. "It doesnt have to be too big,"He stated,"Just big enough to live in."
So he started to build. Startiny by placing six wood in a long row, in about five minutes he finished. "Wow, it's really dark in here!" Nate remarked. Then he decided to break on hole in each side of his house. "Much better."
Nate stood in his dimly lit house. His home still didn't seem right. He didnt feel protected. "Can I make a door?"Nate questioned, placing his crafting table in a corner of his home. Staring at it, he guessed how he could make a door. "Here we go!"Nate cheered, placing three wood in two rows.
Nate put his door down, and he began to open it over and over."I love this sound,"He laughed. However his laugh was cut short by the slow draining light of day. Looking outside, the sun slowly feel beneath a the forest of which Nate had exited.
"Well," Nate gulped nervously,"This can't be that bad,"
"Can it?"
