Chapter 1

Ashley's POV
I was getting ready for work today. It was my 9th time in a row being late to work. I can't be late 10 times otherwise I'm fired. I put on an outfit and I rush to the store. I am a cashier. I finally get there and go in.
"You're late, again." My boss says.
"I know, it won't happen again sir." I say.
"It better not, otherwise I have no choice but to fire you." He says. I nod and I got to my cash register and start scanning people's food and the money and stuff. Then the next person was a man in a suit. He looked pretty handsome.
"Hello sir." I say as I scan his food. He looks up at me from his phone.
"Well hello." He says. I smile and finished scanning the last item.
"Your final price is 34.65." I tell him.
"Ok, here you go." He hands me 35 dollars.
"Keep the change." He tells me. I nod with a smile.
"Have a good day." I say with a smile.
"You too." He says with a smirk and walks away. I watched as he left, and scanned someone else's food.

Work is finally done. I go home and lay in bed without changing first. I literally hate work. I then get up and change. I go downstairs and I see, Bailey, my dog.
"Hi girl." I say as she comes up by me. I pet her and I go on the couch I turn on Netflix and I start watching my show, which is Riverdale. Then my doorbell rings. I pause my show and I open the door. It was a guy, my ex to be exact.
"John? What are you doing here?" I ask him.
"I wanted to apologise for cheating on you and I was wondering if I could have a second-" He starts saying. 
"No." I say and slam the door in his face. He cheated on me six times, one of which was on Valentine's day, he told me he had a family thing but instead he was out with some other girl. I go back to my couch and start watching Riverdale with Bailey.

Hours past. I got really tired and it was late. I turned off the show, and went to my bed and layed down. I was tired. I felt my eye lids getting heavy and they finally shut.

It was morning, I checked the time. Fuck. I'm late again. I get up and get ready fast. I go out into my car and drive to work. I show up.
"You're late again, you know what this means." My boss says. I nod. I walk out and go home. I walk inside and shut my door when I get home.
"Fuck!!" I yell. I take of my shoes and sit down on my couch. I pull up my laptop and I look for jobs. Then I finally saw one I like and it pays good money. It was an intern for this business. I quickly singed up and write out the reason why I should have the job and other things on the application. It told me I will find out in a few days.

A few days past. I finally finished Riverdale last night. I checked my laptop for the 4th time and it popped up. I looked at it.
"Yes!! I got the job!!" I yell. I was so happy I didn't have to wait any longer to make more money because I need it. I also need a boyfriend, I can keep being alone all the time. Tomorrow was my first day, wow that was fast. My bosses name is Grayson Dolan. I go upstairs to my room and I fall asleep. Tomorrow is a big day for me.
