Chapter 6

Grayson's POV

"I think I'm ready for a relationship with you." Ashley says. 

"Do you mean that, or are you just saying that because my mom thinks we're dating?" I ask her. 

"No, I wanted to tell you before she even showed up but we kept getting interrupted." She says. I get off the bed. 

"Look Ashley you're an amazing girl-" 

"But you don't want a relationship with me." She says. 

"I didn't say that." I say. 

"Well that's what it sounded like you were going to say." She says. 

"Ashley you are the prettiest, nicest, sweetest girl I've ever met, if I said no I would be stupid, and idiot." I say. 

"So is that a yes?" She asks. 

"Of course it's a yes." I say. Her smile was so big. She hugs me tightly. 

"Ow." I say. She pulls away. 

"I'm sorry." She says. 

"It's ok." I say. She pecks me on the lips. 

"Isn't it weird to be dating your boss though?" I ask her. 

"I mean not really, I get to see you everyday." She says. 

"True." I say. 

"Plus you're not even a year older than me, it would be weird if you were a couple years older." She says. 

"Yeah." I say. She sits back on the bed, when her phone started ringing. 

Ashley's POV

I pick the phone up, it was my best friend, Jessica. 

"Hello?" I ask. 

"Hey girl." She says. 

"Oh hey Jess." I say. 

"Did you see that Grayson Dolan followed you!?" She asks. 

"Yes, I'm with him right now." I say. 

"Wait for real!?" She asks. 

"Yes." I say. 

"He runs a business, you know that right?" She asks. 

"Yeah, we work together." I say. 

"No way!" She exclaims. 

"Yep." I say. 

"Well you have 13k followers now on Instagram, and there's a rumor going around that you two are dating." She says. 

"Who said that was a rumor?" I ask. 

"I gotta use the bathroom." Grayson says. 

"Right down the hall." I say. He then leaves my room. 

"Wait was that Grayson?" She asks. 

"Yeah." I say. 

"And those aren't rumors, you two are dating?" She asks. 

"Yep." I say. 

"I need proof." She says. 

"I'll send you a picture of us kissing after this call." I say. 

"Great, bye." She says. 

"Bye." I say. I hang up, then Grayson comes back. 

"Here, come take a picture with me." I say. I pull up Snapchat. He sits next to me and smiles. I turn my head towards his, he turns his head towards me, our faces not even an inch a part. I kiss him and i take a picture. Then I pull out of the kiss. 

"That's a good one." I say looking at the photo. 

"Yeah." He says. I send the photo to Jessica. 

2 weeks later

Grayson was back on his feet, good as new. People we're going crazy over the rumors, we never addressed them. Today we're going to the beach together. I put on my bikini. I wore some shorts over the bottoms and then I grabbed my towel and I left my house to the beach. Once I get there i lay my towel on the sand. I take off my sandels and I take of the shorts. I lay on my towel and I get a quick tan before Grayson gets here. 

Grayson's POV

I got to the beach, today was a day off of work today. I see Ashley laying on her towel and her eyes were closed. I pulled out my phone and a water bottle. I open the bottle and I start recording on Snapchat. 

"Hey guys, so I'm at the beach with Ashley and she's tanning right now, over there." I flip the camera toward her and then back at me. 

"I'm going to pour this water on her." I flip the camera back towards her. I run towards her and I dump the water all over her. She freaks out. 

"Ah! What the fuck!" She yells and looks at me and the phone. I'm laughing at her. 

"You little bitch." She says. 

"You can't swear on my Snapchat." I say. 

"Fuck." She says. I laugh and then the snap ends. I put it on my story. I don't care what people say. 

"I'm getting you back." She says as I put my phone away. 

"Ok." I say. Then Ethan shows up with Jenny. 

"Hey guys." Ashley says. 

"Hi." Jenny says. Ashley and Jenny became friends over the two weeks and I'm glad they did. We all finish setting up. 

"Wait Ashley, get on my back." I say. 

"Why?" She asks. 

"Because, we should take a photo with you on my back and then one with Jenny on Ethan's back." I say. 

"Sounds like a great idea." Jenny says. 

"Ok." Ashley says. Ashley gets on my back. Jenny picks up her phone and takes photos. After a few photos, we take pictures of Jenny and Ethan. We then spend a lot of time at the beach and taking photos of each other or with each other. After today me and Ashley went to her place and Ethan and Jenny went to Jenny's place. 

"So what photos should I post?" I ask. We look through. There was one photo with Ashley on my back, she was laughing and I had a huge smile on my face. 

"That one." She says and point at it. I click it. We keep scrolling through. 

There was one where Me, Ashley, Jenny and Ethan were all holding hands. I was at the end holding Ashley's hand, then she was holding Jenny's hand, and then Jenny wss holding Ethan's hand. 

"That one." Ashley says. I click it as well. Then there was another one were I through Ashley into the water, it was her in the air with her mouth wide open and me laughing. Both of our faces are clear as day. 

"Ok and that one." She says. I click it. I caption it

This was so much fun 😆💕 

Then I tagged all of them in the photos they were in. Then I posted it. Ashley posted a photo as well, it was her on my back, she was laughing and so was i, she was about to fall of my back because we were laughing so hard. She captioned it, 

Best day of my life, thanks to Gray 💞

Then she tagged me. I look up from my phone and I smile at her. 

"Today wa fun, but we have work again tomorrow." I say in a frustrated voice. 

"Yeah." She says. I lay down on her bed and she snuggles up next to me. I wrap my arm around her waist and i pull her close to me. I turned of the one lap that was on. 

"Goodnight beautiful." I say. 

"Goodnight." She says and we both fall asleep.
