Fate Of Two

Chapter 1

Evelynn and Derick were in the playroom in their luxirious home. It was raining heavily so Derick was at the window watching the thunder and lightening coz that was a habit he recently developed, while Evelynn was one side of the room playing with her building blocks .

Mia and Kevin (which where their parents)
Mia * their mom was preparing a delicious meal for dinner, while their dad
Kevin* had his eyes glued to the TV.
Then, she left to join her husband in their luxirious sitting room when suddenly they heard a loud noise, my gosh it was an explosion from the kitchen and the whole apartment was on fire. The gas has already melted the lighter and chemistry took over (paww an explosion). Kevin and Mia ran upstairs to get their precious children because they weren't aware of the fire, but before they could head back down stairs the fire was already too much.

Kevin and his family had to jump down the upstairs window but Evelynn had acrophobia which was the fear of heights so she had to jump out the window with the rest of the family but back to the backyard which led to the garage .
Mia yelled and said
" Come back Evelynn". A lot of other people were running because of the fire, so little Evelynn didn't hear her mom screaming out her eyeballs. Kevin jumped into the window that led to the stairway, but before he left he said to
Mia "Just keep on going down stairs with Derick I'll go find Evelynn". Mia being anxious saying
"No but she is my daughter". and the rain started falling cats and dogs guess that day wasn't theirs and he yelled so his wife could hear him clearly
" Just go down with Derick I'll bring Evelynn back safely I promise" and then the couples looked into their eyes and Kevin saying again
"I promise"

Mia and Derick her first born and son ran down while Kevin went into the stairway it was hard for him to find Evelynn because of the crowd running away from the fire. He saw Evelynn's  pink teddy bear and he picked it but someone pushed him and the teddy bear fell out of his hands and fell down stairs. When Mia saw Evelynn pink teddy bear on the ground she knew something was wrong she left Derick to find Evelynn since it seems like Kevin couldn't find her and told Derick
"Derick please just wait for me here I'll be back I promise, don't go anywhere, don't talk to anyone, just wait for me here" and Derick replied with a bit of fear saying
"Okay mommy" and Mia kissed him on his forehead and left to fetch Evelynn, the crowd was too much coz people were running for their lives.

Mia went upstairs and saw a girl sitting quietly on a bench, she tapped her.
