"This is it," Pan said as you, him, Felix, and Henry walked into the place where Henry would "save magic."

"It's time, Henry," you said. "Time to save magic, to save Neverland."

"What do I have to do?" he asked.

"You must give me your heart, Henry. The heart of the truest believer," Pan said.

"You mean I have to believe?" Henry assumed.

"No," Pan said with a chuckle. "I mean, you need to give me your heart."

"But... what will happen to me?"

"You'll become the greatest off all heroes," you said.

"You can tell me the truth," Henry said. "I know all magic comes with a price. Saving it must come with a price too."

"I would never lie to you, Henry," Pan claimed. "I mean, you're right... there is a price. You have to stay here on the island with me."

"Neverland will become your new home," you added. "And we, you're new family."

"I know it's a huge sacrifice, but isn't it worth it?" Pan said. Henry nodded.

"Heroes have to make sacrifices all the time," he said.

"Now are you ready?" Pan asked. Henry nodded. "Then let me help you." He grabbed his hand and enchanted it so he could take out his heart. The boy plunged his hand into his chest, cringing in pain. He pulled it out.

"Henry wait!" a familiar voice yelled. Baelfire ran toward them. "Whatever Pan's telling you to do, don't do it."

"Dad? You're alive?" Henry said.

"I am buddy," he said. "And I need you to listen to me. Pan is lying to you."

"Oh, pleasure to see you too, Baelfire," Pan said. "Not to mention the savior and the evil queen." He glared at them.

"Henry, you need to get away from him now. He's trying to hurt you," Emma said softly.

"No," Henry said. "The heart of the truest believer! It's what's going to save magic! It's gonna save all of you."

"No, it's not," Regina said. "This was never about magic, Henry. You have to believe us. The only person Pan is interested in saving is himself."

"That's not true!" Henry protested.

"Of course it isn't," Pan agreed.

"Henry, you have to trust us," Emma said.

"Trust?" Pan said as if offended by the word. "I'm the only one who's ever been honest with you, Henry. The only one who's ever believe in you."

"This is your choice. Not theirs," you added. Henry looked at his family, then at Pan. He pushed his heart into Pan's chest. Henry fell to the ground.

You immediately scooped the boy up and ran past the story clan, out of the cave and toward one very special spring. You only had one shot at this. The life of a young boy was in your hands.

You made it to Neverland's magical spring and practically shoved the water down Henry's throat. The boy coughed and opened his eyes. You smiled and sighed in relief.

"(y/n)?" he whispered. "Wh-what happened?"

"You're safe now, Henry, and that's all that matters," you said, still trying to catch your breath.

"Henry!" you heard Emma call as she and everyone else ran toward you.

"Mom!" the boy exclaimed, hugging his mother. Emma looked at you as she hugged her son.
