His Past

It's been 3 days since I ran away from home and stayed with Natsu and Gray. Im so grateful for them, they've been taking really good care of me. I haven't told anyone about me leaving Loki because I was afraid they would get worried and try to stop him and call the police. Which should be a good thing but Loki has connections and he's fairly goo at hiding but I don't want anything big and major to happen.

I'm in the guest room which is now my room for the time being until I heard footsteps walking in, it was natsu with a plate of food. It was eggs, bacon, and pancakes with a cup of milk.

"Natsu, did you make this for me?" "Well I'm a pretty horrible cook so I'm afraid not, so Gray made it instead." "Oh well I'll make sure to thank him." "So Lucy, what do you plan on doing to Loki?" "What do you mean?" "Well aren't you going to turn him in or something?"

"No I can't..." "Well why not? He hurt and abused you and maybe others. He needs to be turned in." "No natsu, I dont want you or Gray getting involved in my mess. This is my fault and all on me." "It's not your fault Lucy it's Loki's. And I promise you this, I will protect you." Lucy smiles to herself. "Thankyou natsu."

Flashback of Loki before he got with Lucy

Loki was quietly and peacefully sitting in a meadow until he heard a voice. "Lokiiii." It was his girlfriend Aries. "Aries!" Loki says back as he stood up and opened up his arms to hug his girlfriend. "Hey babe." "Hey, I have something to tell you." "What is it?" "Promise you won't get mad at me but...I'm pregnant."

Loki looked at his girlfriend with with wide eyes. "Are you mad Loki?" "Mad? How can I be mad? We made a life Aries! I'm going to be a father I'm so happy!" "But we're still in school? And we're only just juniors in high school. How will we make money and raise our baby-." "Babe chill, it's going to be okay, you need not worry, we got this, we'll make wonderful parents."

"So please don't worry my love, as long as we're together we got this." Loki leans in to kiss his girlfriend on the lips and hugs her tightly rubbing her belly slowly.

At the hospital 8 months later...

"What the hell man! Are you serious?? How can she have breast cancer? Where did it come from?" Yelled an angry Loki to a doctor. "I'm not sure sir, but I need you to calm down we're doing everything we can, but it's hard since you really don't have the best health insurance and money."

"I'll get you your damn money." Loki said looking at the doctor with irritation in his eyes. He then walks towards Aries and sits down besides her and holds her hand.

She looked so sickly and weak. "Aries..." Loki whispered. She looks at him tiredly. "Loki I'm so worried about the baby." "Yeah I know me too, I can't believe this happened." "What did the doctor say?" "We don't have the money to pay for your cure and we don't have the best health insurance but I can go ask the Heartfilia's. They have plenty of money and I'm pretty good friends with Lucy so maybe her parents can help us out?" "Loki I really don't want you to beg others for money, it's ok."

"No it's not! I'm not going to give up on you Aries, I'm going to save you, both of you." Loki says holding her stomach.

So everyday for many weeks Loki went up to the Heartfilia's and got in his knees and begged for money.

"Please sir, my girlfriend has breast cancer, she is in the hospital in bed as we speak. She's slowly dying and she is 8 months pregnant. I don't have money and I really need to save her. So please can you you lend me some money, I promise I'll pay you back." "Can't you take a hint boy! I'm not giving you any more money, you should've protected yourself and you wouldn't have put an unborn baby in danger."

"Sir please..." Loki kept begging. Jude held out his hand "kiss it." "W-What?" "Kiss my hand or no money for you." Loki bends down to kiss and hand and Jude immediately uses his other hand to punch him. "Like I said before I'm giving you no money, if you're really a man you can handle this situation yourself. Now good day sir." Jude slams the door in Loki's face. After his humiliation he goes back to the hospital.

"Aries I'm so sorry, we're not getting any money from the Heartfilia's." "Loki, what happened to your face sweetly?" "It's nothing you should worry about..." "Well I talked to the doctor while you were gone, I've decided to have them preform a C-section on me to take out our baby." "W-What? Why? Why would you do that??" "Think about it Loki, if it stays in me any longer it will surely not survive and the doctor said that it's better to have the baby out of me. But..." "But What?" "The doctor says I may not make it..." "No! Absolutely not! I will not allow this to happen!"

"It's already official Loki, my time is coming, we need to give this baby a chance to live, I want you to raise our child." Loki has tears rolling down his eyes. "No I can't...not without you." Aries kisses Loki's cheeck. "Shhh...it's ok babe...it's ok..."

Some time after the surgery....

"It's a boy, that's good to know." Aries says weakly holding her newborn son. He had a small tuft of ginger hair like his father and had dark purple eyes like his mother. "He's so perfuct huh?" "You did a wonderful job Aries." "What are we going to name him?" "Well I was thinking we'd name him Niko." "Niko? That's a perfect name, our son Niko." The doctor walked in, "Pardon me but can you come with me to fill out the birth certificate?" "Oh yes of course I'll be back Aries."

"Well well we'll look at this." She sees a tall man in a suit walking up to her. "Who are you?" "Don't worry about it, let me see your son." "What? No! Where is my boyfriend Loki." "At the front desk, but since your going to be dying soon anyway it's best I'd take this child off your hands." "No please don't..." "This is what you get for making Loki embarrass me for weeks on end. Now I will sell his child. Don't worry he'll go to a nice wealthy family."

"No I refuse!" "Well to bad missy." The man walks toward Aries and steals her son away. "What a good looking boy, he'll make me lots of money, farewell miss." "No please!!!" The man was no where to be seen anymore, Aries was left there heartbroken upset that she couldn't even get out of bed to save her own child. She started to cry.

Loki walks in with the birth certificate paper for their newborn baby. He immediately sees that Aries was crying, something happened while he was gone. "Aries what happened why are you crying my love?" "He-he took him! That man took Niko!" "What? Who?" "A tall man with a mustache and he was wearing a suite and he had blonde hair." "Oh no- you don't mean Jude Heartfilia do you ??" "That probably was him because he said you were embarrassing him and said he was going to take and sell our child. Loki we have to do something!" Loki was angry, infuriated, the rich were all the same. All they do is take and not give. "I swear I'm going to get him back, no matter what it takes and what I have to do, I'll get us our son back."

Aries looked up at her boyfriend with ready eyes, she struggled to breathe but she managed to say, "Thankyou...Loki..." With that being her last breathe she silently passed away, Loki held her hand tighter and started crying on her, saddened that the love of his life is gone.

End of flashback

Loki was in his messy room just now getting to wake up from his long slumber. "Damn, I would think of that at a time like this." He looks at his watch 10:30 PM. "Well fuck me, it's gotten quite late." He went downstairs to get some food, almost forgotten that Lucy wasn't there to make him food and clean the house. He was angry. "DAMMIT LUCY!" He started to knock over his furniture and things around the house.

"You better hope I don't catch your ass Lucy because your dead once I'm through with you. You Heartfilia's are all the same." He said to himself with a scowl.

He went to the counter and grabbed his car keys and left.
