Being an alpha had its perks, such as having a natural charm with betas and omegas alike, dating anyone he wanted, and getting any job he wanted, it was supposed to be a simple, easy ride but what was difficult was the fact that alphas tended to become quite territorial easily, especially when it comes to their mates, it's just basic instinct to protect the potential future mother of their pups, you know all that bullshit they teach you in middle school.

However that problem hasn't ever really affected She Li, until now, and by that he had essentially been seen carrying an omega that an alpha, an angry alpha bare in mind, sees as his potential mate, how absurd and fucking ridiculous.

As She Li walked down the back hall heading to the employees' space, still carrying Mo on his shoulder he left the guards to deal with the jackass ruining the show, he muttered to himself thinking about finding out who that asshat is and if he was going to ruin his business, well technically his brothers business but soon to be his.

He hadn't even noticed Mo's constant swearing and protests to put him the hell down until he was whacked in the side of the head with his knee.

"Son of a-" She Li dropped him rubbing his head with a glare. Once Mo stood up he tried to cover himself as best he could, anxiously glancing towards the loud noises at the front before turning back to him.

"You're not going to let him back here, are you?"

She Li looked at him like he was an idiot, sighing he responded. "Of course not, businesses have this thing called bans for a reason."

Mo glared at him but not wanting to fight he didn't snark back. "Good, I'll be in my room, so you can fuck off."

He walked on shaky legs towards his changing room, his heart still doing leaps in his chest and his mind reeling in the anxiety-inducing thoughts about his ex-best friend showing up out of nowhere.

"Hey, once you're done changing and recollecting yourself we need to talk." She Li was leaning against the wall, keeping his head down and frowning, it was painfully obvious he was angry.

Mo just nodded instead of responding, he was too exhausted to do anything more than oblige.

He locked himself in his room and leaned against the door, he held his hand close to his chest and sighed out a shaky breath. "What the fuck is he doing here."

He quickly changed into his street clothes and sat at his desk, he didn't want to be the subject of the many questions that were bound to be thrown at him once he opened that door but what choice did he have at this point? She Li was probably still angry and he was going to demand for answers regardless of how Mo felt.

He sighed, standing up, he gripped the doorknob before opening the door slowly, he took a peek outside and flinched seeing his coworkers staring at him as if he were someone to pity, it angered him.

He swung his door open and glared at them. "What the hell are you all staring at."

They all averted their gazes, moving away and trying to pretend as if nothing was going on.

She Li was still in the same position Mo had seen him last in, he moved away from leaning on the wall and gestured Mo to follow as he spoke.

"Care to step in the break room redhead? My brothers still in the office and I don't want him to deal with petty cases like this."

Mo gritted his teeth, it was literally his first day here and he wasn't sure what was going to happen since, technically, he wasn't the one who caused any problems, it was that alpha jackass.

Stepping in the barely lit room Mo just felt the need to go home to his mom, this was tiring on so many levels and he didn't want to deal with this ass right now.
