Chapter Three: The Death on the Field

Karla knew what must be done and what cost she must risk. She planned on poisoning Bethanie at the soccer game but Bethanie was one step ahead.
Karla poisoned Bethanie's hydroflask when no one was looking and waited for Bethanie to take a sip. It wasn't until long till Karla saw Bethanie pick up the poisoned hydroflask but only to see her give it to her son Nathaniel. At first Karla thought she poisoned the wrong bottle but realized Bethanie knew what her plans were. So Karla sits in shock and is forced to watch Bethanie's child drink the poisoned bottle. Karla just prayed she didn't put enough dosage to kill anyone. But nothing immediately happened until 10 minutes later Nathaniel started convulsing on the ground at first puke then it escalated to blood Karla watched in shock and sees a glaring Bethanie staring at her. Karla knew she was screwed. She knew everything was going to be taken away from her. She just hoped the boy made a recovery and no one found out but Bethanie and her. Karla soon grabbed her child and took off home packing his and her bags. Alex had no clue what was happening and questioned her only to find out she poisoned Nathaniel, who was Alex's secret lover.
