Kidnapped

Chapter 4: The Talk

“There must be something blocking it from the inside” Tyler thought as he gave the door one last push. What he didn’t know is the man was watching the scene in front of him with slight amusement. After watching Tyler struggle to open the door he walked over there and in one push the door was launched open along with the sound of a falling table. Tyler then realized that the table was put there to obstructthe pathway of the door. “Who would put a huge table in front of a door” Tyler mumbles.

“That someone would be me” the man said annoyed by the question. It was then that Tyler realized that he was still kidnapped in some strange house in the middle of the woods with his crazy kidnapper. He then started to think of all the horrible things that could happen to him. But the one thing he was thinking of the most was that he was never going to see his family again. Never going to see his friends, his house, his room or anything ever again. All because of the awful man standing in front of him.

“What do you want from me” Tyler finally said to the man in front of him. “Why did you take me away from everything and everyone I love? Why are you trying to ruin my life?” Tyler yelled getting more frustrated with every word coming out of his mouth. The man just stood there an unreadable expression on his face as he took in all he had to say until he snapped.

“Look around you boy and tell me what do you see? Do you see a nice house with expensive looking furniture with crisp white walls? A giant flat screen TV on the wall next to the pool table? Or do you see a rundown shack with plastic chairs and moldy ceilings. A shack that is infested with every creepy crawly thing known to man? That my friend is where I live because I don’t have any money to get out of this dump, but that my friend is where you come in. I have seen your type and where you come from so I know I can put a heavy price on you and your safety. Once your precious family finds out there only son is gone they will pay me a fortune to have you back. A fortune that I will use to leave this place and to get an actual nice place and a successful life. So you can go ahead and whine boy but nothing will stop me from getting what I want.” The man finished his little speech and finally looked at Tyler. Instead of having a look of hatred in his eyes he had a look of sadness. Tyler now realized that he was just trying to get a better life. The next thing out of Tyler’s mouth shocked the man.

“What’s your name?” Tyler questioned.
