Little Delirious'

Prologue

At the first day of E3 a new console has been released, gamers from around the world had been waiting for it since its release.

It took at least XX years till it's completion and now its ready to be seen and played by the public.

Desdia, the company who had released the console had shown its great potential among other known popular ones.

Many had acknowledged the company due to the loyalty of its fans and have keep pushing out AAA games.

To celebrate its anniversary they decided to make a console at least XX years in advance before the anniversary.

Due to the help of modern technology, the console was finished earlier than expected and was more than once tested and debugged by the developers and beta testers before the anniversary of the Desdia Company.

And now the Desdia Company have now released the newly improved console, 'Skew', the origin of the name is unknown and have clearly has no symbolism.

The 'Skew' resembles a Halo, there are buttons, specific colors of  lights that signifies the console's status, and ports on its right side.

It's silver white with a neon cyan lining in the middle,it's quite small but also big and when looked closer it's as thin as a medium watch lace.

The 'Skew' console allows players to be fully immersed in the games' atmosphere, the player is needed to put it and lay down before turning it on, after a signing in or logging into your account.

The console transports the mind of the player to a premade lobby, it can be designed by the players as long as they like and when cosmetics had been introduced.

From there, it will first check the whole status of the player in order to know whether they're allowed to enter the game they picked and ready up the player for the environment of the game.

Since it had  only been a release beta version, Desdia developers made a sandbox, that includes a custom map, inside of the map are, enormous cities, steep mountains, breath-taking beaches and a mysterious forest.

The game had experimental basic game mechanics that can be seen most games such as, Crafting, Brewing, Building, Fighting, etc.,

It had weapons, ranging from Medieval ages to Modern, the game is still in its early stage, so there will be more mechanics and maps to come.

H2ODelirious or Jonathan had been rooting for the console for a long time since its announcement, he's quick to buy the console along with the sandbox to test and play it with his friends, unfortunately, a couple of them are busy and had been skeptical about it, even if Desdia can be trusted.

"Why not?" Jonathan whined through discord call.

"I don't know bro, it just seems it's still too early for this console to be released, i mean come on, the sandbox ain't even finished." Luke answered while looking at the console, sitting pretty at his table clearly visible to the webcam. "So how does this work again?"

"Simple really, it's just like this one anime with the Asumphere or something and you just put it in your head, you go to bed, you lay down and after a couple of seconds you're in the lobby." Jonathan answered gleefully.

"Mmmhmmm.... And you know it too well. What had happened to the Main Character of the anime?." Luke raised his eyebrow towards his bro.

"C'mon man, this is real life, you don't have to be cautious about it, sometimes you gotta live life adventurously." Jonathan did the jazz hands, and just Luke sighed heavily.

"Okay, I'll play a session with you later."

"Can't it be now?" Jonathan puppy eyed at the older man. Deep blue eyes are sparkling through the screen.

Such effective tactic, but Luke has seen enough of that shit.

"Nope, cause i got stuff to do." Luke answered, while looking away to avoid the tactical gaze that the younger one has been doing.

"Oof, okay, I'll ask the others then." Jonathan said and waved goodbye to his best friend before leaving, turning off his webcam before continuing.

Delirious will always stay anonymous unless, he decided to face reveal to the public, which is not on the younger one's priority list.

He didn't even face reveal to his friends yet other than Toonz and Rilla, since they almost known each other and living at the same state. He gladly appreciated the amount of respect for his privacy.

'Someday' Jon said to himself, he will break out of his turtle shell and be proud of himself.

Delirious goes back to discord and clicking the DMs. Trying to invite others to play the game with him.

"Sorry man, got some vacation planned with my family." Moo apologized

"I'll gladly play with you but... I'm on vacation with the fam." Rilla scratched his head and apologized.

"Oof, sorry dude, Got some personal projects going on, I can't play games till who knows when." Ohm shrugged.

Delirious click the group chat he was in and asked, not losing hope despite the multiple rejections.

"Hey, Evan do you want to play ga-"

"Yes." Evan responded with stars in his eyes, not letting Jon finished his sentenced.

Brian responded with an 'Ok' hand sign.

"Fuck yeah dude." Marcel fist bumped Jon.

"YES!" Nogla screamed at the top of his lungs.

"Sure why not?" Tyler shrugged with a smile.

Jon smiled and tell the others to ready up for the upcoming session. And then logged out of the discord.

"This is going to be fun!" Delirious grinned happily to himself, as he created his account.

- Intermission -

"FUCK!" shouted by a man in front of his computer, he kept trying to hack into the server of the lobby of a certain individual.

"One last fucking time, if this didn't work then i quit." He furiously muttered as he try to hack it again.

"Yes." He congratulated himself and readied himself as the fun is going to begin.

"This is going to be fun." he cracks his finger and continued to make more changes.
