The Ball

Jungkook felt suffocated in the chattering and loud gossips of the most awful people he has ever seen, despite that he stuck to his motive of finding a proper partner for his younger sister.

Now here comes the real thing, in jungkook's country homosexuality was happily accepted and was no crime and was told to be one of the blessings of God.

However the Jeons were really desperate to get their children marry as soon as possible because they always disliked the idea of dating and having multiple affairs, they always thought it was nothing but a way of disturbing the kids morals and ethics.

So here is Jungkook,  trying his best to obey his parent's command and running his eyes through the room boringly, It was not like that he was not pretty but the fact that he did not open up to everyone made him look like a loner.

Sooner or Later, A dashing boy known as the one who held the ball, came forward and asked his sister to dance with him, which she happily complied
, Mrs.Jeon was squealing as she thought she finally found a handsome prince for her daughter but on the other hand, jungkook was not that happy and went here and there to gather a little bit more about the person who is apparently going to be his "soon to be brother-in-law".

After hardly forcing himself to ask a few of them some questions , he found out that the name of the guy was Jung Hoseok, the next heir of the Jungs who belonged to the high class society while the Jeons were middle class. Jungkook was not sure but still let his sister dance with him.

Soon the lights got turned to a shade of romance and royalty and all men and women were on the floor with their partners.

"Jungkook dear, why don't you find yourself a partner", Mr.Jeon adviced patting his son's back.

"I haven't really found myself a suitable one, father", jungkook said

"Aha! Mr.Jung , why don't you help my son find a partner for himself ", Mr.Jeon exclaimed with hope.

"Sure sir, it will be a pleasure of mine to find a partner for your son, Jungkook why don't you come with me?, let me take you to one of my dearest friend who just came from London all the way here", Jung hosoek replied with respect and enthusiasm.

"Sure, why not", Jungkook finished.

Hosoek took jungkook to one of the expensive rooms that is being the "bear place" as they called it. Jungkook was not quite religious but he just avoided drinking.

"Ah, Kim Taehyung, it's really an disappointment seeing you sitting all alone in such a loud ball, however meet this one over here" Hosoek said pointing at Jungkook.

Jungkook's eyes soon travelled to the man hosoek was talking to and holy hell, he has never seen anyone so manly and handsome at the same time, holding his cup of drink in the most gorgeous way, his suit was surely something else that just befriended with the edges of his body and his lips curved in the most powerful smirk.

"Nice to meet you, I am Kim Taehyung as already introduced", that deep husky voice was a melody for the ear drums of no other but jungkook.

"I am jungkook, Jeon jungkook " Jungkook replied in the most well mannered way.

"Since you two are alone, why don't you both join each other for the ball dance" hoseok suggested

"I indeed have to say that this boy over here is pretty but not pretty enough to impress me, to satisfy me or to fill up my desires, I must say I would  choose the most abandoned girl in this ball rather then spending my time with a boy" Taehyung said in the most rude-polite way.

"My my, how much disgrace of you to compare between man and woman and portray the most simple thing in the most weird way" Jungkook retorted trying to keep his morals.

"Your beauty is not enough for people like me, so it will be better if you excuse me" Taehyung said in defence.

Hoseok was about to scold his friend for such disrespectful comment but Jane that being jungkook's sister walked into the conversation, and cutting the tension of by informing the ball dance has started.

Jungkook found himself walking away from the man he found attractive a second ago who replaced his first impression by disgust and annoyance.

Jungkook was indeed offended by Mr.Kim's unacceptable behaviour and could find himself judging Mr.Kim as the most prideful and boastful man in the ball. He made a mental note to stay away from him.

However on the other side Taehyung found jungkook's behaviour and way of talking very much challenging, inviting him to know more about him.

Soon the ball came to an end and Jane was so happy to find a dashing, rich, loyal and amazing partner. Mr and Mrs. Jeon was indeed very happy too. It's not like jungkook was not happy, he was indeed happy for his sister however he just wanted to make sure hoseok is perfect for his sister.

Jungkook found himself completely forgetting about taehyung while taehyung also got busy in his own stuff.

All we know is that things didn't start well between them.
