I was born Akemi Kenaz Thompson along with my twin Keon Solomon to very hardworking parents whose names are, Natasha Mackey and Ken Thompson. In her 9 ninth month of pregnancy my mom went to her last appointment, discovering i had hydrocephlus , This when too much fluid is in the brain. They corrected the problem and everything was fine until the year 2014; I started to lose my sight my last year in 6th Grade. One day, I noticed that my right eye turned to the side and i didn't tell my mom until it was too late to do anything . I was teased about my eye to the point where my teachers started to this happened the 3 years of junior high.
Life was hard being visually impaired, but i cope with it. With me being so sensitive at times, I learned the hard way to toughen up because the world was cold to me .
My birthday is Oct 3,02. I would be sad at this time because I lost everything. I don't expect people to pity me and feel bad for me.
I been thru a lot but I thank God for bringing me thru.
