𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐀'𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐏𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 a parking spot directly in front of a video store in the early night, the tires screeching slightly on the pavement of the street as the vehicle came to a stop. The sky was cloudless yet you couldn't see a single star from all the lights illuminating from street posts or the store; However, only their car and one that likely belonged to an employee occupied the parking lot.
Last Friday, Lydia had invited Naomi over for the weekend. She claimed that she needed to hang out with females instead of two teenage boys, one including her brother. Of course, she loved them and all, but at this point, she would take any excuse she could get for a break from the werewolf spiel.
It had actually been really fun considering Lydia was a lot different than Naomi. That awkwardness of feeling like she didn't fit in with Lydia or Allison from when she first met them began to fade after a few trips to the mall, that the strawberry blonde had insisted on, and romance movie binges.
Surprisingly, Lydia had convinced her to stay over one more night despite it being Sunday and let her do her hair before they went to school the next day. It wasn't really her thing, nor did she care for it very often, but she had agreed because of how excited Lydia looked when talking about it.

Noticing it from Stiles, she unlocked her phone and clicked on their message feed, revealing the goofy selfie he took with a bunch of french fries. His father was in the back staring at the boy like he was crazed, a hint of amusement on his face.
She smiled at the photo as she quickly sent a quick one of herself back.
Her eyes, however, drifted over to the couple in the front seat when Jackson turned the radio down to speak, "Hoosiers is not only the best basketball movie ever made, it's the best sports movie—"
He had been trying to convince his girlfriend to watch something other than a sappy romance movie for the whole ride there. Lydia may put on an act for him, but her stubborn personality, similar to Naomi's, would not let up.
"No." She cut him off. Her lipstick-covered lips pursed as she stared ahead at the movie store.
"It's got Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper—"
