Sehun had shook his head to remove the haziness when he faced an omega accompanied by two men who he was not informed of. He still had the side effects from his medicine, them being his eyes changing colour according to his reaction without his control.

If his father had known how bad this condition was, he would've been fired on the spot or dismissed until he found that damn omega.

Clearing his throat, Sehun had smiled widely although his eyes showcased a blue colour. Baekhyun raised his brow at that, not understanding why an alpha would be showcasing his feelings so freely, especially when he was upset.

Couples would let their walls down and let their partner see their eye colour to show how much they loved them, a fiery violet to represent how strong. Omegas in heat would usually have no control and their eyes would immediately flicker to pink, representing lust. Same with alphas in a rut but instead of pink, it would turn to an almost blinding yellowish amber.

Baekhyun, feeling pity for this man, had genuinely smiled back which he never did. Sehun was taken aback since he read the description of this omega being stoic and rigged around people he didn't want to associate himself with.

Sehun had spoke with formality and delinquency as he paid all three men with respect and much honour. His family was known for treating all genders with the same amount of elegance as they were grey wolves.

People from the past didn't trust his ancestors much for being what they were. It riled up but also upset Sehun. And it took great difficulty for Chanyeol to court his omega, Kyungsoo, because of their race. It's not Kyungsoo who was hesitant but his family as they were artic wolves, much smaller and submissive than most races.

Shaking off the thought, Sehun had started with basic questions as what type of race Baekhyun was to the much more personal ones which were if the omega was a virgin or not. It was crucial to know this because it would affect the omega physically and emotionally. Baekhyun hadn't even reacted negatively as he really was a virgin.

Sehun felt something like relief come over him for some reason and it seriously creeped him out. Maybe he really needed to court an omega soon. Baekhyun has also noticed Sehun's eye colour gradually shifting from blue to a mild hazel colour.

The omega had grinned in victory as he kept answering the questions Sehun was asking him. Luckily, the questions weren't too personal or much about his family. He really didn't want everyone checking in on him to know about his father. He didn't want to scare everyone off...

The news about his father who was a Central U.S coyote mating and bonding with a pampas fox had spread like wildfire. People didn't believe that they could bear pups since it just didn't work like that. However, a miracle had happened and thus Baekhyun was born. The suspicions had died down when everyone figured it had to do with the fact that both species were from the same family: Canidae.

However, when anyone dared thinking to harm either his son or his mate, Woohyun wouldn't hesitate to even kill them. Baekhyun smiled at the thought, just as malicious and psycho as his father.

The meeting had soon ended and both alpha and omega had said their farewells, happy to have helped each other although in different ways.

Just as the door was closed shut, a wide-eyed Jongin had popped his head in. "How'd did it go 'boss'?" He asked cheekily as he made his way to his long trusted friend.

Sehun smiled, surprising the other alpha a little, explaining what happened. Before Jongin left though, he mentioned Kyungsoo's heat and at that Sehun did flush unlike the other alpha. Partly because it was still a shock that they grew so old and were still friends. Although it did make him smile.
