Flashback

"I won't let them hurt you akamaru. Not anymore. " I hugged the dog tightly hoping they dont find us until the twins sakon and sukon came around and found us when sakon look at me with his Satan looking head "well then there is the mutt and the brat I can't wait to carve you up. " And then sukon agreed saying "me too" Until this man with a puppet came around and saved us by fighting off the two men if they were even men when he came around I saw his make up covered face and I took his hand then I realised he had saved us then-

End of flashback

"WAKE UP IDIOT! " I look up to see Hana throw a dog bone at my head "OW! WHAT THE HELL! " She just replied with a smirk "I'm not as bad as mom. Now GET THE HELL UP! " I sat up knowing she was right I rubbed my eyes after knowing I was having a dream of that day a couple of years ago. When that guy saved me and akamaru from death. And me being grateful. I just smiled thinking about it until I heard a whimper of the big dog to see him and pet him leading akamaru into a bark "hey boy you seem worried. Is it because of me? " He just whimpered in agreement I replied with a smile "don't worry boy it's nothing" After a bit I got ready and put everything on that I needed. Then I walked out to see my mom and see her turn her attention towards me "YOU IDIOT! YOU KNOW MY RULE ON SLEEPING IN! " She decided to throw plates across the kitchen "SLEEPY HEADS DON'T GET BREAKFAST! " I looked unamused with this normal routine she decided to take off her apron and walk off saying "have a good day" Leaving with her dog while I stood there looking at the massacre that happened.

"Well another day without breakfast it is. " I decided to grab akamaru and we went out for a walk to find someplace to eat with me thinking of different food places to go not knowing where until I saw temari me knowing that shikamaru must be near by after that I saw someone else. In a black coat with baggy pants and a bag with scrolls on it I didn't know who it was until akamaru decided to run and pounce on the man I ran up to him telling akamaru to get off afterwards I grabbed the guys hand pulling him up to see the guy who was taller than me by a little and had makeup on causing me to blush a light pink knowing who it was then I figured out why akamaru ran to him. And jumped on him with me apologizing "I'M SO SO SORRY I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAME INTO HIM I MEAN I-" He laughed seeing me freaking out over what happened he decided to cut me off "it's fine all fine I don't mind. You're the inuzuka right? Kiba was it? " I nodded with me replying "y-youre kankuro right? " With him nodding and then looking down I realised I was still holding his hand with me turning a slight red in embarrassment "s-sorry kankuro"

He just shrugged it off saying "it's fine all good I don't mind at all. Trust me. " He kneeled down to start petting akamaru which he loved letting out a bark I then asked "why are you at the leaf? It's usually temari who's here" With him smiling a little saying "I'm here on business to discuss bringing some leaf chunin and jonin to the sand village for the academy for them to train with different village ninja" I sighed in slight disappointment but I knew that he probably doesn't like me. He probably doesn't like guys either. "Oh that's cool. Well I was exploring for something to eat but I can take you there seeing how shikamaru isn't here to take you. "

Temari just scoffed a little and nodded and kankuro just nodded saying "thanks a lot. It would mean a lot too " I just smiled then lead them to the hokage building when we walked in to speak to lady tsunade she was there obviously doing paper work she looked up surprised to see us asking "hello temari and kankuro was it? And hello inuzuka. "

Temari just looked up and straight saying "hello lady tsunade I'm here with my brother to ask you something. " Tsunade just looked up placing her hands in front of her face laying her head on her hands saying "well what is it? " Kankuro then spoke up saying in a polite manner "I'm here to ask if you can send about 2 chunin and one jonin with us to the sand village to teach and show some of our academy students and new genin teanwork and cooperation with the other villages."

Tsunade looked down closing her eyes thinking then saying after opening her eyes "okay I will give you two chunin and one jonin You already have one here. That was easy. Kiba you're going. And so is shikamaru and Kakashi hatake." I was surprised to hear that I'm going but I was overall excited to hear that because I am able to hang out with kankuro more which made me smile a little but I realised that shikamaru is coming same with Kakashi sensei. Which made me kinda mad that I couldn't spend time alone with him but it can't be helped.

So I left the office walking down the hallway to have my arm grabbed by kankuro with me looking at him he just said "I'm happy to be working with you for the time being. I hope we get to do it more in the future. " He ended with a small smile which lead me to bush a bit I replied " O-okay but don't think I'm gonna let those kids get away easily got that! " I smirked and chuckled a little then broke free of his grasp leaving to go to my house to pack for the three days.

Afterwards when I got to the gate with akamaru seeing everyone there it made me upset and I heard it is going to take three days to get there. That's gonna be such a pain but I have him at least.
