Omkara's POV

"It's not Omkara it's Shivaay, whom you are going to get married to."

That came as a bomb for Gauri...

"I am sorry I don't want to get married to shivaay..." She tired to get back to her room when her mother stopped her...

"What kind of behaviour is this Gauri... A while ago you were all smiling and beaming with happiness because of this alliance...." Pinky aunty questioned her with a damn serious yet threatening expression.

"I don't know Mom but for sure I know one thing that I don't want get married to shivaay and ruin his life.. " Gauri said with full confidence...

"But I love you Gauri!" Shivaay spilt out all the words in one go....

"What!" That's what echoed the whole living area.

"This is impossible shivaay it hasn't been even an hour that you have seen me and here you are claiming to have fallen in love with me what are you exactly trying to convey....." Gauri asked.

"You can fall in love at a very moment Gauri... There is no need for hours or days to fall in love with someone." Shivaay replied

"Let me tell you one thing shivaay there's no such thing known as love at first sight or falling into love at an instance... It just might be an attraction that you would posses for the person but love, no!"

"That's not true Gauri." I finally said so that she realises that there exists somethings termed as love at first sight or falling in love at a particular instant, because I did feel it when I had seen Gauri in that cafeteria....

"No it doesn't" she stomped her foot and left for her room....

"What was all this Shakti?" I heard dad question.

"Even I have to figure out what's going on in Gauri's mind. Till then the only thing I can do is apologize to you all." Shakti uncle said holding his hands together followed by Pinky aunty doing the same inorder to apologise for Gauri's behaviour.

"Enough she didn't behave weird.... Gauri did like one of my grandson's that is why she was happy with the proposal did you even think about that... Just as she was made aware of that it is going to be shivaay and Omkara her happiness faded away..." Dadi finally brought out the most important topic yet it was disturbing for me because now the targets gonna be me!

"Om answer me honestly how do you exactly know Gauri?" Dadi demanded the ans even though she had asked me the question in a polite tone.

Sighing heavily I answered looking at the ground,"Well we met today during the lunch at a cafeteria. She unintentionally bumped into me making all her food go waste so out of kindness I asked her to share my lunch. That's all!"

Well I had to lie but Rudy quickly questioned me using his eyes.

"Is it the complete truth."

"Yes" I replied through eyes

He still wasn't convinced....

"Can I go and talk to Gauri pls aunty pls uncle pls dadi pls Mom pls dad" Rudy asked everyone using his melodramatic tone which obviously was enough to let him have a talk with her....

I knocked on the door to receive a get lost in the return.... Well I wasn't going to give up this soon after all both my brothers claimed to be madly in love with this woman on the other side of the door....
