Melody Marx is a regular 17 year old girl. Straight A's , perfect attendance, best friends Harry, Mark, Perrie, Danielle,Eleanor, Louis, Zayn, Liam, Nial, Molly, Iggy, and Gemma. But none of them except Harry knew that she was being abused at home by her alcoholic father. Melody loved her mother but she was barely around because she was a lawyer so she traveled a lot and her mother knew nothing about her being abused. Also because she would always cover it up with makeup or lie and say she fell.
After school on Friday she walked out of school she was walking to her car and all her friends were there
talking.She really wanted to talk with them, but she knew if she did her father would be hella pissed and hit her.
She went to the group and told them she was leavin, they all groaned but said ok.
They all said "Bye!"
She called out "Bye guys, see ya Monday!!"

She came home and opened the door, she noticed the house was silent which was odd, but she shrugged it off. She started going up the stairs until she heard,"Where the hell have you been?!"her father boomed.
"A-aaat s-school" she studderd.
"GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE NOW!!!"
She ran down the stairs and stood two feet away from him. He pulled her arm and said"You should habe been here twenty minutes ago!!" She barely had time to respond before a burning feeling came over the side of her face. He slapped her again and then he punched her in her stomach which made her collapse and he kicked her legs. She cried until she could not feel anymore and blacked out after a while.
This is my first book so if i made any mistakes i will correct it later.
