IVY FELT WEIRD WALKING into a party for a second night in a row, it was like she was reliving the same sequence of events from the night before except in a different place and at a slightly earlier time; that time being ten o'clock at night.

Sadie coming along to the party this time was something else that was also a bit different from the previous night. And Ivy was very happy that the girl had come too, because when Corinna immediately went off to search for Todd once they entered the party, Ivy wasn't alone this time.

"I still have mixed feelings about Toad," Sadie told Ivy as they watched Corinna walk off in the direction she'd expected him to be in. The two girls walked in the opposite direction from their friend and went toward the kitchen.

Ivy nodded along in agreement with Sadie's previous statement. "Same here, but he seems to make her happy so we have to be supportive."

"I'm supportive, just wary," The short haired girl responded, taking a small sip of the soda she grabbed from the carton that was sitting on the kitchen island.

Ivy couldn't help but feel that sense of wariness too. They both knew that there was no way for them to talk Corinna out of pursuing the boy, but they did know that if anything ever went wrong they'd be right there to pick up the pieces.

Sadie turned toward Ivy, who was looking out into the horde of people that were scattered throughout the house. "You don't want anything to drink?"

"Nope, I'm good," Ivy answered, even though she was pretty far from being "good." Her eyes were nervously scanning the crowd in an attempt to find one person in particular; this said person being the reason only why she had decided to show up to the party.

Earlier that day, when Corinna said that there was another party for all of them to attend, Ivy saw that as the perfect opportunity for her to return David's shirt and officially forget about last night. But, if he wasn't at the party, she'd be fucked; just metaphorically this time.

However, she didn't have to worry about that because as her eyes looked toward the left side of the house she spotted David with a camera in his hand and a grin on his face, as he pointed the device at two guys drunkenly dancing with one another. When David stopped filming the two dancing guys and started walking away, moving toward a different part of the house, Ivy took that as the right time to confront him.

"I'll be right back," She told Sadie, whose eyes were now on her phone. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom."

A simple "sounds good" was the response Ivy received but was barely able to hear due to the loud music and how fast she was moving toward David. Even though there were a copious amount of people occupying the house, Ivy managed to maneuver through them fairly quick and catch up to where David was. She grabbed his hand that wasn't holding the camera and pulled him toward the bathroom, disregarding the confused look on his face as she did.

"Hello to you too," David joked once Ivy closed and locked the bathroom door behind them.

Ivy ignored his statement and instead pulled his black t-shirt that she somehow managed to stuff in her small sized black bookbag purse and held it out for him to take, which he did. "Here you go. Don't worry it's washed." She decided to use this random burst of confidence she had to also say to him, "And I just wanted to make sure that both of us are on the same page about last night only being a one time thing."
