Chapter 2 - Please Help Me

Merlin's P.O.V

I had to hit Meliodas on the back of the head with one of the bar's frying pans. I was relieved to see his black markings fade.

"Phew," I sigh,

"What the... What did you do to Sir Meliodas!" A familiar voice rings behind me.

"Sorry, but I need to run some test's on the Captain," I say, picking him up and leaving.

Meliodas' P.O.V

I wake up on a somewhat familiar table, unable to move due metal clasps grabbing my limbs.

"Ah, so you're awake, Captain," Merlin says from behind me, "Now, I just need to run some tests on you, as I've learnt about a demon's mating season, but there is not enough information in the books, so, Captain, you're now my guinea  pig."

I try to reply, only to realise that the was a metal bar in my mouth. Annoyed, I snap it in two, taking Merlin by surprise. I broke the rest if the chains and started to leave only to realise I'm in a tiny Perfect Cube. "Merlin! Let me out!"

"No, you are my guinea pig now, I must know what happens to an unmated demon during mating season!"

"You bastard!" I say, banging on the wall, "Let me out! I need so see Elizab-," I cut myself off, I don't know why though. Before I knew it, I was in my demon form trying to obliterate the walls around me, knowing full well it would bounce right back at me. My attacks got more and more powerful as I grew weaker from exhaustion and damage. I soon ran out of strength and will power and fell onto my knees panting heavily, while Merlin was taking notes.

"Merlin! Let me out of here! I have a tavern to run! I need to see Elizabeth! Let me out!" Merlin's eyebrows raised as he heard me mention my Princess. Wait, no the princess.

"I think I have just learnt something Captain, so you're free to go for now."

"And how about the rest of eternity?" I snap, quickly walking out of Merlin's tower. Luckily, Hawk's Mom was already nearby. I was just about to go inside when I smelt it. Elizabeth's scent. Followed by a very lustful feeling, so I quickly jumped back to Merlin's tower and told her to please help me by locking me in a Perfect Cube in the Tavern. She seemed confused but did as I asked.

There, no I'm not gonna be a threat to Elizabeth.

"S-sir Meliodas? Why are you sitting in a Perfect Cube?" A familiar voice called out from behind me. Like a dog, I turned my head around to see her in the tavern uniform, looking as innocent as ever, the exact opposite of the thoughts going on in my mind.

"Hey Elizabeth! I don't wanna be rude, but I need you to stay away from me for awhile, it's for your own good." I sigh, feeling disappointed.

"Why? And why did Merlin knock you out last night?" She asked.

"Ugh, fine, but you're not gonna like it. Honestly, neither do I. Are you sure you wanna know?" I asked, she nods quickly. I sigh.

"So, I'm a... I'm not a human. My clan has a mating season. And, I usually have control over it, but, this time is different. Part of me works on my cla-,"

"You're from the demon clan, aren't you?" Elizabeth asked, tilting her head in an oddly adorable way, but I hadn't had any time to register, because of how shocked I was.

"T-that's not what I'm talking about," I stuttered, mentally slapping myself for being so obvious.

"But you are, aren't you?" She persisted.

"I, uh, ugh, yeah, I'm of the demon clan. And my mating season coming up, and my demon part has decided that you're to be my mate."
