"Paladins we under attack, get to your lions" Allura yelled from the control room as she and Coran started get the castle defence up. "I dont see anything" hunk yelled with worry as all five lions was just flowing in space looked for the enemy but saw nothing outside the castle. 

"Pidge scan the area, try and see if they using cloaking" shiro ordered as he didnt have a good feeling. "find anything" keith asked as a couple minutes passed and they were still sitting ducks. "a single rebel ship, lance fly up now" Pidge yelled and Lance did so in the blue lion just missing a canon shot. "the hell, are the rebels not your friends in this world" Lance yelled a little annoyed with being shot at. "Pidge keep scanning, your gonna be our eyes and help us catch this ship, lets try not to kill them" Shiro ordered and everyone nodded before getting in the places Pidge told them.

"wow my lion caught it, I cants see the ships but I can feel it in yellow jaws" hunk said impressed as the other lions corned the ship until hunk could catch it with his lion mouth. "lets find out why they were shooting at us and who these pricks are" Keith hissed as they started to fly back but lance noticed Pidge wasn't moving green. "pidge" Lance said with worry making the other lions stop and notice she wasn't flying. "shit" Pidge yelp making them all worry and Lance was soon flying over while Allura ordered hunk to return to the castle with the ship. 

"Pidge" Lance yelled as he jumped out of his lion and climbed into her. "I'm fine" Pidge said breathing heavy. "what happened" Lance said with fear as everything was knocked over and Pidge sat on top of a passed out rebel. "I didnt expect one of them to jump of the ship and try to take me on" Pidge said a little bruised. "lets get you to a pod" Lance said with a small smile and stroked her cheek. "I'm fine I dont need a pod, lets just get back to the castle and turn this guy in with the rest" Pidge smiled and lance nodded before returning to his lion and the two flew back. 

Everyone watched as Pidge pulled the passed out rebel out of her lion, they did enjoy watching her struggling with pulling him out. Once she reached the green lion jaw she just kicked him down the stairs and sat for a quick breath before walking down. 

"did you have fun" Keith smirked and Pidge stuck her finger up at him. "pidge" Shiro said in a dad voice. "oh shut it, you could have helped like a gentleman but just watched laughing with them" Pidge hissed back and stood next to lance who was the only one not laughing. "sorry pidge but that was funny to watch, I make you some cookies later as a sorry" Hunk smiled and Pidge grinned at the word cookies. "your all forgiven until April the 1st, the one day of year I can do anything pranks I want" Pidge giggled making them all worry well apart from a certainalternate universe who was smiling like a love sick puppy. "you giggle is so cute" Lance smiled with a small blush making Pidge blush at his comment and the other three boys groaned. 

"why dont we get these guys to the cell before they wake and try attacking us again" Hunk said with a small smile. "anything to get away from these awkward lovers" keith sighed and picked the guy pidge knocked out. "why dont you come two come meet up with us after you get check over by Coran, that a nasty looking bruise Pidge" shiro said with a kind smile and walked out with another knocked rebel. In total they caught three rebels, two males and a female. 

"well shall we go my lady" Lance smiled and held his hands out to Pidge. "we shall good sir" Pidge giggled and took his hand before the two met with Coran and Pidge bruise got checked over. "nothing to worry about, it will heal in a couple days or we can use the pod" Coran said with his normal huge smile. "no pod, I let it heal in a couple days" Pidge smiled. "well lets go meet with the others" Lance smiled and the two walked off.

"what a sad fate" Coran sighed as he turned to the mice who nodded with him. 

The two met up with the others and in time since the rebels were now waking up. A couple groans and moans as they sit up. "ouch he sure can fight" the rebel pidge took down making her smirk. "I wonder if he lose more pride once he knows I'm a chick" Pidge smiled next to her friends who all grinned. "lets get answers before you ruin his bride" Lance smiled as the others nodded. 

"let us go" the women rebel yelled as she stood first. "we will if you tell us why you attacked us, we allies so why would you attack voltron" Shiro asked and crossed his arms. "your not heard" the guy Pidge knocked out said shocked, he was the tallest out of the three and looked like the manly man of the group. "heard what, the last thing we heard was that the rebels were gonna sneak into a galra ship for info and told us to be back up if something goes wrong but we never got a location" Keith said with a grunt.

"We got out numbered and called for voltron but you never came, we lost a 1/4 of our numbers in that fight becuase you never came" the last rebel who seemed to be thin and short said with a frown. "but how can that be, we never received anything nor did we get a location for the ship, we just guessed it was cancelled since we never heard from the rebels" hunk said with fear. 

"it was a trap, someone sold us out and everything thinks it was voltron since they never showed up" the girl said with a sadden frown as she noticed the paladins had no clue what happened and someone was turned the rebels on them. "we were sent to find you and kill you before you give out more info to the Galra" the manly man said feeling bad. "but now we know that we been lied too and someone else is the betrayer in the rebels" the short guy said with worry. 

"Pidge" hunk said with worry as Pidge seemed to be pissed, scared and worried at the same time while listening to the rebels explain what happened and how the mission went. "is he ok" the short guy asked as Pidge was getting more pale. "who was covering you guys as you escaped with others" Pidge asked once more and looking to the rebels. "someone called matt, he from another base but was fighting most of the ships head on saying he knew his sister and friends would come, if he didnt have hope and go in fighting then everyone would have died that say" the manly man said proudly and pidge fell to her knees and it hit everyone. Pidge just heard her own brother death and was the reason for it. Matt kept trusting in her to come with the others to save the day and kept fighting to let others escaping because he had hope in her. He died being betrayed by her and losing all hope. If they came flying in then he would still be alive. 

"lance, keith get her out of here, she doesn't need to hear anymore" Shiro said with a frown and tried to stay strong for her sake. "Pidge he might still be alive, we dont know if he really died yet" keith said trying to give her hope but everyone knew he wouldn't be that lucky. "come on Pidge, lets go look at the stars" Lance said with a weak smile and held her hands pulling her to her feet with Keith ready to catch her if she tripped. "shiro if matt dead then she would have lost everyone, how would she explain this to her parents, how will she keep her cool when fighting" Hunk said with worry and shiro couldn't answer. "she knew matt" the girl asked shocked since she didnt know voltron had such a close friend in the rebels. "why dont we talk a little more later, I'm sure you paladins need some time to breath" the shorter guy said with worry and Shiro nodded before leaving to find pidge with hunk. 

"why didnt you tell them everyone, the green paladin fate is in danger" the manly man said with worry. "this world is still very real to her, we cant wake her before she ready or we might end the world" the girl said with fear. "how has the others not worked it out yet" the shorter guy said with worry. 

"fate truly is cruel" Coran sighed as he turned to the rebels and Allura just frowned. 

"her time will run out soon" Allura said with worry.
