As the young duchess rushed inside through the clinic door, nurses greeted her politely. She hastily looked around but all patient beds were surrounded by crisp cream curtains, so knowing which one Levi was situated in was difficult.

'Your heigness, who are you looking for?' Suspiciously asked an old nurse, pushing her small, round reading glasses up her bumpy nosebridge whilst checking the clipboard in her grasp. 'You can't possibly be looking for the-'

'Yes, Levi. He's not a bad person. Just tell me where he is.'

'Follow me then.' The nurse acted as though she was far way superior. She has a small portion of rights to be considering she was one of Zoe's oldest, most loyal nurse. She has been there to aid Hange especially for being clumsy. The duchess bounced impatiently while following after the elderly's calm, leisure walking pace. She paused in front a curtain and shoved them out of the way.

Tears pooled in the kind-hearted duchess' sparkling brown eyes at the usually strong man's limp, injured laying form as she rushed to stand beside the bed he was slumbering on.

Without tearing her sight from the man, she asked the nurse before she could flee, 'How was his condition?'

'A concussion. We stitched up the would on his head and cleaned the bruises all over his back he had achieved from the explosion. It was a miracle he survived. Usually, others won't be so lucky to only receive such minimal bruises from a harsh explosion. That boy's mission must not still be finished hence he's still breathing.'

The duchess stared at the elder woman curiously, 'Like what?'

'Im not sure but since your fate met his in such a strange way, maybe your destiny and his were tied. That boy, I can feel his strong will to live. Poor thing. But I'm quite glad you're there, you surely stood as a light and new hope for him. But I wish your happiness with him lasts long.'

'Thanks...?' Hange wasn't sure what she was getting at but it was nice but had gotten wary from the nurse' last statement. But I wish your happiness with him lasts long? Why does it sounds like she's giving me a warning.

'There are always bad people trying to steal others happiness.' The nurse continued and before she can leave again, the duchess spoke,

'I've heard Levi has family... The name was probably Isabelle? Can you ask around town and fetch his family! Levi needs them here.'

     'Sure thing, Hange.'

    'Thank you.'

The nurse finally left and obeyed the duchess' polite favor. Since there weren't any chairs to sit on, the duchess crouched down and rest her chin upon the bed's edge near the sleeping man's strong arm and watched how his chest rise and falls whilst waiting patiently for him to wake up already.

'You're quite silly... Saving me like that. I'm just a no one to you. Why would you risk your life for me, because I'm the duchess? Even if you didn't want to save me if I'm just a normal citizen, I'm still grateful. The nurse was right, you really stood as my light...' She whispered with a fond smile, completely hearing the old nurse wrong.

When he did not responded aside his steady breathing that she was glad to hear, she curiously poked the compressed muscles on his arm. He's so built. She carried on admiring every inch of unconscious, hot physique, her favorite was his oddly handsome grumpy face, but the tranquil atmosphere eventually made her drowsy to the point of nodding off. So she lowered herself until her butt was nestled on the marbled floor and shifted to rest her aching back against the small bed-side cabinet. The easily asleep duchess had dozed off almost quickly.

It has been nearly fifteen minutes later when intimidating, slightly red from the bleeding, jet coal eyes were revealed. Levi's entire back and head felt as though being seared! And upon noticing the asleep girl beside his bed, all the occurrences that happened returned to his memories.

Is she alright? Was she hurt? Did she got hit by just a small chipped cement?

'Hange,' He called out towards her gently whilst slowly sitting up in pain. The duchess remained drooling. I have to get home too. What time is it anyways? Forcing to hoist himself out of the warm bed, he approached the duchess and sorely got down on one knee in front of her. He admired the effortlessly cute sight. 'You don't have to look after me, ugly...' A small smile tugged onto his lips, and surprisingly, there were still a decent amount of vigor left in his veins to carry her form and lay her on the bed, pulling the blankets over her chest. His eyes that sung passionate love songs, stared at her intently with a tweaked of sadness. 'Right when I met you yesterday... I've been wishing you're mine...' He whispered sincerely.

'Levi...' Mumbled the slowly awakening duchess and curled herself  whilst pulling the blankets closer. As her brown eyes slowly opened, they met Levi's and she swore there was a glimmer of tears there that tugged her out of drowsiness. 'Levi! You're awake!'

'I am, you think I died or someth...' He was unable to finish his sentence and his eyes widen in realisation that the duchess truly cares for him after seeing her large eyes watering and her lips trembling as she sprung up on her knees over the comfy sheets his scent had lingered on to tie her arms around the boy's neck standing beside the bed she was on. Still sore all over, Levi grunted in pain yet whole-heartedly returned the embrace. No pain can stop him from being tangled in her warmth. His eyes softened ever so slightly, 'Hange...'

'You made me worry there,' Her voice cracked while crying, 'You really did...! Thank you...'

'It's not that it was my intention to save you or anything...' Levi whispered as he pulled her body closer against his.

'Uh... Hange, what is this?' A surprised, shocked voice of a female teenager asked out.

Both romances turned to look. The duchess was surprised.

'Nanaba? What are you doing here?' Asked the duchess. There were loud running footsteps echoing the area before another girl with pigtails and a blonde man barged inside.

'Brother Levi!' The little girl gasped out and was horrified upon seeing her most idolized brother embracing some other girl aside her almost too passionately.

'See, Isabelle? Levi is all fine. Like a bull. As always!'

     'Shut up, Farlan!' Isabelle yelled.

'Uh, who are you people?' The short blonde haired noble, Nanaba, asked in confusion. 'I came here to check up on Hange but then... Are you both dating? You're dating a thief!'

'Hey, shut your mouth!' Yelled Isabelle.

'Isabelle, shhh! We will get kicked out!' Farlan Pleaded.

'Ah, alright, everyone, let's all calm down.' Both Levi and Hange awkwardly separated themselves from each other and the duchess explained calmly, 'I'll tell the whole story, so please let's all be quiet.'
