NIKOLINA'S P.O.V
Today is the first day back at school. I hope I get a class with my friends in it. At assembly all the new stage three are sitting down and quietly chatting.
"As you know for the first two weeks you get a temporary teacher till we work out what classes you will be in." Calls out one of the new teachers. "In Mr L's class will be Jovana, Maja, Sadar, Mohammed, ..." Looks like I'm not in that class.
"In Ms A's class will be Melissa, Aws, Cindy, Duha, ... Lisa." Not my best friend. And I'm not in that class either.
"In Ms S's class will be Collins, Tehreem, Milan, Amir, ... Wendy." Not Wendy too!" And neither am I in that class.
"In my class will be Tumama, Angela, Tara, Kristian, ... Kusara." Oh no all my friends are in a different class to mine! That means I am in Ms W's class.
We go in my new classroom and start with circle time. I know some people in this class but they aren't really my friends. I quite like my teacher. She is nice. Comparing to the other teachers she is probably the best.
I still miss my friends from last year. I have a thought that soon this year everything will go wrong and I will be doomed some day.
