The Brynjolf family comes from a far away land that believes in many other gods and traditions. 22 years ago Arins family shipwrecked on the coast near The High Steppes. There his father Thorgrim and his mother Sibbe shipwrecked With their 7 year old daughter Asfrid and their then 3 year old son Arin. They built a homestead near the Rolling plains. years later arins twin sisters Asdis and Asvor were born. For the next 7 years the Brynjolf family lived in peace as a neutral family in the Realm of Rith. Until one day a group of bandits attacked their homestead. Thorgrim and Sibbe hid the four children in a hidden underground basement and went to fight the intruders. Hours later the four children emerged with Asfrid leading them after hours of searching the four children only found the corpses of the bandits. But no sign of their parents. After 8 years of training and practicing on Arins 20th birthday he went to the base of the bandits there he knocked out everyone in his way till he found the leader. He talked to the leader and got him to tell him what happened to his parents. The leader told Arin that his parents killed most of the bandits till just a handful of them were left. The surviving bandits told them that they were paid to kill them. They then told Thorgrim and Sibbe who hired them. The bandits then made a deal to protect their children and the homestead if they didn't kill the rest of them. Arin then left back to his home where he told his sisters. For the next five years Arin became a lumberjack and sold lumber for the next five years.
