Tododeku | Melody Of My Heart

Chapter one

A/N This is technically a high school au, so there are no quirks!

It was another boring day at UA High. Everyone was in their classes.. well accept for some people like Katsuki and his friends-

But Midoriya would never dream of skipping a class. He wanted to try his hardest to exceed the expectations of every class he took.

Honestly, the only think that got Izuku to stop studying was a new All Might comic.
Izuku loved the comics, ad always had since he was a little kid.

But now, he was sitting at his desk during maths as Mr. Aizawa taught the lesson. He was scribbling notes of all types, but he was mostly just copying down what Aizawa was saying word for word.

The seating arrangement of that class was pretty boring too. In front of Midoriya was Ochaco Uraraka, one of his closest friends. A lot of people assumed that they were dating, but Izuku wasn't into.. that sort of thing...

Behind Izuku would usually be Kirishima, but he wasn't there today.. odd. Katsuki wasn't in class either... I wonder if they're together?

Beside Izuku was Kaminari, helplessly throwing notes at Jiro, trying to get her to go out with him.

Behind Kaminari was Sero, face palming at Kaminari because what he was doing was just idiotic.

Next to Sero sat Iida. He was actually paying attention to the lesson and not slacking off.

But in the very back of the class sat Shoto Todoroki. He was paying attention to the lesson, but he wasn't taking notes at all. He was usually the quiet type. Midoriya could see him from the corner of his eye if he really tried, but Izuku never tried.

...

Okay fine he tried. Tons of times. But he was quickly reminded that the lesson was still happening and quickly directed his attention off the multi colored haired boy and back to the lesson.

This was one of those tries.

Izuku moves his head just a bit so he wouldn't hurt his eyes looking back too far, but made it look like he was sharpening his pencil.

From what Izuku could see, Todoroki was listening, but with his eyes closed.

He must be tired... Izuku thought.

Uraraka noticed Izuku looking, And was about to call him out, but before she could the bell rang.

Izuku jumped, not expecting the loud noise of the bell at all.

All the students got up from their seats and were crowding the hall. Next was lunch, so it was about to get loud.

"I saw you looking at Shoto Todoroki, Izuku!" Ochaco teased him as they walked to lunch.

Izuku was immediately flustered. "I-I don't know what your talking about! I wasn't l-looking at him or anything! I was just sharpening my pencil!" He insisted.

Ochaco was not buying it. She was about to keep pushing, but Tenya popped in before she could.

"Greetings Ochaco And Izuku!" He greeted them in his normal loud voice.

The three walked to lunch together, but when they arrived at the lunch room Ozuku realized he had forgotten the Lunch his mom packed him in his locker. The hall ways were already empty, so it shouldn't take him long anyways.

Izuku ran off to his locker. He spun his locker combination in but before he could finish he heard piano notes echoing through the hallway. Izuku stopped, listening to The melody.

Where is that sound coming from?

Izuku was too curious to not see where it was coming from, it was almost like the song on the piano was luring him in.. but in a good way.

He followed the song to the music room. He could hear the emotion in the song, and could tell that the person playing was sad.

But the song was perfect. Well, it was perfect until the player hit the wrong note. But they just kept on playing that same part until they perfected it.

It was very admirable.

Izuku was mesmerized by the song playing on the piano. It was too beautiful to not listen to the whole thing...

So he sat outside the room, and listened to them play piano for the entire lunch period.

He only snapped out of it when he saw that the halls were filling up again and the piano stopped. Izuku quickly got up off the floor and ran to go find Ochaco and Tenya to tell them about what happened.

But then he decided...

Whoever was playing the piano was going to be his own secret.
