The camera zooms in to focus on EMMA-ROSE MORRIS. She's pretty. She has straight brown hair that cascades perfectly across her feminine shoulders. Her skin is of a mocha shade and she's somewhat tall. EMMA-ROSE is sat alone at her table, looking wistfully at the couples that surround her before being abruptly interrupted by her two best friends, Vanessa Carter and Millie Blake.
Vanessa
"God, give me some good news, I beg. My day has been nothing short of exhausting."
Vanessa wears a black band tee, with a red, tartan flannel tied around her waist. Her curly, brunette hair is accented with a red bandana, and a worn out leather jacket occupies her shoulders. She has black, ripped jeans and wears many rings and necklaces. Millie's hair is a bleach blonde, tied up into a neat bun. She wears relatively large hooped earrings, a grey cropped hoodie with white skinny jeans.The screen pauses after her sentence, in a freeze frame of the Vanessa and Millie, focussing on Vanessa.
EMMA-ROSE (V.O)
"Meet my best friend, Vanessa Carter. She's your typical, badass leather-clad teen. Despite her dressing as if she can't afford a stick of deodorant, her dad is totally rich. Vanessa is everything I've ever wanted and more. In a friend, of course."
The screen un-pauses and focusses more on the girl next to Vanessa, Millie Blake.
Millie
"Your day has been exhausting? Babe, try having Brennon for a double."
- The screen pauses again, this time the focus more on Millie.
EMMA-ROSE (V.O)
"And with Vanessa comes Millie Blake, her diva girlfriend. The two are inseparable. Had I not of been the one to set these two up in freshman year, Millie would probably still be pining after Grayson Kingsley. And probably completely unaware of the fact that she's a lesbian."
The screen un-pauses a flicks to Emma, who is starting intently at the pair before her. Jealousy is noticeable. She is playing with her food with the plastic fork in her hand. You can hear the faint voices of the girls conversing as Emma remained silent opposite them. She gets so lost in thought that she doesn't hear them calling her name.
