2019

My alarm blared in my ears, then I slammed the snooze button. I didn't even bother looking at the calendar. I knew what day it was. I knew what time it was. It was 7 am, and it was the day that was infamous in my mind. The day I started to see them, Who might I be referring to? Well... I'm referring to Amy, Mama, and a few others of my so called 'imagination'.

I loved Mama, I really did, but recently... She's been missing from everything. Amy was the only one who still spoke and saw. Amy always told me things, things that sucked to hear, it wasn't like anyone could hear her.

Now you may be wondering what I mean, what I mean is that, no one else saw them but me.  I could hear and see them, They could do the same with me but also hear my thoughts.  Which made it easier to communicate in public so I didn't look like I belonged in a mental institution.

I checked the time. 7:21 am. Couldn't have believed I laid in bed that long, but I finally got up. I chuckled, than went and did my morning routine.

I looked at myself in a mirror, and there was a flash of something. Odd, but not uncommon. Staring at myself.

Suddenly I saw Amy behind me.

Amy... Well shes perfect. Other than her eyes and mouth, which always leaked a black substance and smoke. Her hair was long and rosy pink. She had pale skin, black holes where her eyes were, a perfect figure and style, including long and sharp nails. If she was real, she really would be every boy's dream girl.

She held my shoulders and whispered something to me, Her voice was laced with venom but had a sweet tone.

I always believed her. No matter how much I wished she was wrong. She was always right. She's always been right.

I went to get dressed after a quick shower. I put on Dull F/C shorts and a gray t-shirt. I felt as though I needed my hoodie.

I went and put the black hoodie on, it had the word "NATO" in white lettering on it. I've had it for years, but I kept it in pristine condition this whole time. We never found out who originally owned it.

I slipped it on. I felt like I needed it. Amy always wanted me to use a different hoodie, but with this hoodie, it was the only time I never listened. This hoodie made me feel safe.

I checked the time again.

7:54

I sighed. I knew I had to visit their graves. Traditions die hard. I walked out of the mansion that was now mine. My Auntie had taken care of me as long as I could remember.

Until one day she declared that I should have the company after she retired. To say the least, we were all surprised.

My step-sister was rather jealous, I couldn't blame her, anyone would have been if they were ever given the possibility for a job that could be very beneficial to their family and themselves.

I wanted to have my own job, and wanted to give my sister the company, however my auntie kept insisting I should have it.

Thankfully I was allowed to work from home on days that weren't too important. I got in my car and drove off to the cemetery.

8:16

I parked and got out, having stopped along the way to grab a bouquet and a rose.

I got out of the car, I walked up to their graves and soon placed them in their respective areas.

Smiling, a little as a tear dripped down my face, It touched my mother's bouquet.

I sat there, back against a tree that faced the gravestones.  I didn't care that it was cold, I just wanted to sit there.

Hours passed by.

I finally check my watch again, it said 11:57.

Wow. almost 3 hours.

Amy had spoke to me the whole time, looking down at my wrists, there was a flash of something again.

However... I swear I saw someone out of the corner of my eye too. Odd.

Standing up, I could only smile at my parents grave, and walk back to my car.

It was a few minutes past twelve when I got back to my car.  Getting in, I soon banged my head against the wheel.

Amy started whispering again, except her voice had a second one, It was husky but also venomous... it sounded familiar.  "Shut up Amy...  I need to drive".

I checked my phone.  On the screen showed a message from A, it wasn't obvious to others, but I could tell she expressed her anger towards me frequently.

I opened up my photos, my auntie sent me a picture of me and my sister awhile back.

It was when we were high schoolers.  Me in a very basic outfit for me.

But my sister... she was perfect.  She had strawberry-Blonde hair, a very cute outfit, and her boyfriend of now 6 years.  She always had a boyfriend and guys who wanted her attention, but he was as the one to snatch her off her feet, Highschool sweethearts.

I always wondered if I'd ever find some man to snatch up my heart and hold it close to his own...
But it never happened.

Shes so much more deserving of this.

My sister was 24, engaged, and had a baby on the way.  She needed this job more than I did.

Finally starting to drive, I started my way home.

My tired eyes getting weak as I drove, I soon parked outside my house.

Stepping out and locked the car afterwards, I walked inside the building.  Something called me.

I followed it...  What all happened next?  Well... it went black for me.

When I opened my eyes again.  I was sitting on the couch, everything seemed normal.  Maybe my vision just went foggy, Amy spoke to me with a sweet tone.

I only sighed and looked down.  Knowing what happened, I soon got up.

I've been thinking about something, I got out a piece of paper and wrote something down and left it on the counter.

Maybe I could fix what I've done?

It was now 2:47.

I could only stare off into space.  I started to think about everything.  I really wish I could return this hoodie, but after all these years, I don't think whoever originally owned it would want it back.

Plus, I've wanted to fulfill my desire to thank them.

I checked the time before I left, 4:03.

I stood up and walked out, I locked the door, but left the keys and hid them somewhere outside that was a bit obvious.

I began to walk, Amy kept whispering to me.

Soon I finally made it to a place where I thought I was on my lonesome.

Standing over the edge, Looking down at my hands, I clenched my fists.  I stared off, my H/C hair flowing in the wind.  The sky was so beautiful.

Suddenly, something pushed me forwards.  I fall off the edge, I felt as though I was plummeting...

However, I'm not mad.  This was my intent anyways.
