Grey falls... I was born here. This is my home. My name is Emma Lauren Little. I live here with my dad, Zach, my little brother one year younger than me, Liam, and our cat, Eva, she's names after mom, mom died a long time ago. I don't really remember her. "Emma, Liam! Breakfast is ready!" I could hear Liam running past my door and down the stairs. "Emma school starts you need food" I was still In bed, but slowly started to dragged my self over to my dresser and picked out a pair of high waisted jeans with a grey muscle tank where is said: Beatles in thick black writing. I have long hair down to her bellybutton. It's dirty blond, with blue eyes. "Emma" "yes, i'm coming!" I ran down and sat down at the table. "Tea?" Dad asked "yes" I answered, tired. "What time is it?" I asked "7 o'clock" I looked out side, it was dark. I couldn't believe it was October Already, it felt like it was summer just a week ago. "here's your tea!" Dad was clearly in a hurry for work, he worked as an professor of literature. Eva (my Mom) was an author. lots of people still read her books. witch is good! Time passed by and suddenly it was time for school. I walked to school, I always walk to school. In fact I don't think I have ever been driven to school. Exept for when we had school busses. I walked slowly, and looked down at my shoes. The where all new doctor martins in the color brown leather with fur in side, they were extremely comfy! My jacket is a big navy blue winter coat with a furry lining on the hoody. My hair is beaded in a side fishtail. I put my hands in my pocket and felt something, it was my wallet. I I opened it, 42dollars. maybe I can go to the book store after school. I put my wallet back in my pocket. ever since mom died I have been reading a lot! I have a shelf in my room that covers one entire wall. filled with books. moms books are on the top shelf, I have all of them, all 14 books, I have read all of them. "Boo!, did I scare you?" it was Tori. "Yes!" I lied, she always tries to scare me and I always lie. "what are you doing after school?" Tori asked. "bookstore" I sad "cool I'll go with you" ok I said. books were one of many things me and Tori had in common. Tori had short hair with bangs, her eyes are green and her hair is strawberry blonde. she has been my best friend since kindergarten.
