The shades / colors

Me and jennie have gotten closer to the point we kind of meet each other every day. After the incident at el malecón we have certainly gotten closer.

Right now we are in her private office talking to each other. Turns out jennie was my boss and i never knew i worked for her until I asked her a couple of weeks days ago.

There was something I really wanted to tell her and to be honest it was really bothering me because I REALLY want to tell her but I don't want to get rejected.

"Lisa the expression "our"...." She said while looking straight at me but I cut her off because I really wanted to tell her this. " I came because I missed you" I suddenly felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders after I told that I missed her because it was the truth.

Every time we met I wanted to tell her this but I couldn't afraid that she would react weirdly. "Because I wanted to see you...that's why I'm here" I finally told her everything I've been wanting to say to her since before.

Jennie licked her lips and looked down at the table slightly moving her feet a little bit away from me. " it's a good feeling that someone say they miss me. However you know it's an extremely dangerous thing to say right? I'll act as if I didn't hear it" she said while still looking down at the table.

I looked down as well preventing tears from forming in my eyes. I swallowed my spit and looked back up at her. " the world is really big and wide right? There are so many different countries. And out of those meeting in one country, one city and spending the day together. We returned after that meeting again as an employee and a superior in the same company and also spending a short but fun day together. All of this... is in fact amazing." I said licking my lips.

My Hands stared to become clammy and sweaty as I kept fidgeting with them under the table. Jennie licked her lips once again and I swear I could die but I didn't pay attention to the fact that she loves licking her lips due to how nervous I'm feeling right now. " your choice of words is a bit off. It's kind of like spending a day together and spending routine day together" she said dryly.

I bit my lips once again and looked at her. "Then what should I say? We didn't spend them separately" I pouted and looked at jennie pleadingly but I noticed a blush making its way to her face. I guess my pout is effective after all.

"Just...for a moment well..." she looked down and sighed as I chuckled at her. " see? It is correct that we did spend them together"  jennie bit her lip again and I swear I could kiss her but I don't wanna scare her so I didn't.

"Let's eat our bagel" I noticed she hadn't eaten gotten her bagel yet so I gave her mine so she didn't have to get up to go buy another one. I smiled at her and made my way to buy myself another bagel.

I waited in line for a couple of minutes and bought myself a sour cream bagel and made my way back to the table where I was sitting with Jennie. I took a big bite out of it and Jennie just looked at me for a couple of seconds then started eating her bagel.

After a while we finished eating and paid for the remaining stuff that we bought and left. Afterwards I looked at her and she just kept walking without looking at me so I grabbed her arm and turned her around.

"You aren't just telling me to go now aren't you?" I really didn't wanna go i just wanted to stay with her for a little more.

"I know you're tired but I won't ask you to take a brake before leaving"  she gave me another one of her gummy smiles that could always melt my heart to the deepest pits of the horizon.

I smiled back then pouted. " but even so....I can see you are saying we must have a cup of coffee. I found an unbelievably good cafe. Really perfect! Let's go!" I teased her while swinging her arm back and forth.

I let go of her arm at once and started walking but when I looked beside me to look at her I noticed she wasn't there. I looked back to find her standing still narrowing her eyes at me

"Let's go!" I motioned her to walk beside me with my hands and she started walking towards me with her hands inside the pockets of her coat.

A few minutes later we got to the cafe which had was constructed right next to the beach. I went and ordered a cup of coffee for Jennie and made my way back looking for her who was sitting on a bench.

I noticed she was shivering and her hands where clasped together trying to get a little warmth out of it. I took of my coat and put it over her. "It's okay I don't need it-" I cut her off once again objecting her remark.

"No, no put it on"  I sat down next to her while she put my coat on which was little bit big for her making her look like a cute small cat. " im not cold at all. Shall I say it's  because you are like a heater? It's warm right?" I smiled back at her while she drank her coffee.

"Yes, thank you." We sat silently there for a few seconds drinking our coffee looking at the seashore.

I started to become very bored by the lack of communication so I started to doze off. I really wanted to keep my eyes opened but I couldn't so I just closed them and let my self be taken to the land of dreams.

"Excuse me miss manoban" I noticed lisa was starting to lean forward and her coffee was starting to slip from her hands. I quickly grabbed the coffee away from her before it spilled on the sand.

I felt a certain weight on my shoulders. I looked to my side and noticed Lisa's head was on my shoulder. I put her coffee down beside me and looked back at her gorgeous face. As much as I love her and hoped to be more then friends with her it's really dangerous. We are both not in the same financial status and if people where to find out it would damage my company badly.

But I want her so bad it's killing me.
