today he was at table seven.

"he wanted table five, something about a lucky number, but i couldn't let him sit there. the table needed to be cleaned when he got here." renjun was telling jeno about why jaemin was sitting where he was sitting.

"sorry that it's not in your area." the older gave jeno an apologetic look. "jisung give this order to table seven!" renjun shouted at the new employee.

jeno watched as jisung gave jaemin the americano, but he found it strange how cold jaemin was. he didnt even thank jisung.

"stop staring jeno, you'll scare the other customers."

"i wasn't staring." jeno quickly diverted his attention to something else.

"just go over and have an actual conversation with him. it's your break in a few minutes anyway." renjun tried to keep it lowkey, but he shipped the two so hard, even if jeno thought he was straight.

"what would i say? i suck at small talk."

"say 'hi, i like to stare at you. i find you very attrac-"

"no. be serious hyung."

before renjun could say anything, jisung walked over. "jeno hyung, the guy at table seven is asking for you."

renjun smiled. "looks like you don't have to start the conversation."
