Lost & Found ( Roronoa Zoro \\ One Piece )

The pink haired started skipping merrily, humming a happy tune to herself, making Zoro question her sanity.

She was a weird one; that's for sure.

"Hey, Zoro."

"Yeah?" he asked, looking over at her. Her green eyes stared at him.

"Why are you a pirate?" Zoro paused. Her behaviour until that moment made him think that maybe she didn't know he was a pirate.

"You know I'm a pirate?"

"Yeah, you're kind of famous. Well, infamous. But still." Akira shrugged.

"I dunno," Zoro replied honestly, wondering why did he join Luffy. "Luffy- our captain- kind of saved my life. So, uh." he stopped, because Akira was shaking her head, laughing to herself.

"No, I mean why. I mean, from what I gathered Luffy- can I call him that?- is kind of, well, um, in the lack of a better description- nice." she paused, what was her  point? Oh yeah. "He wouldn't kill ya if ya said no, right?"

"Look, it just happened," he said, sighing in annoyance. Nostalgia annoyed him. "He saved my life and the situation was weird, and so I became a pirate instead of hunting 'em, and-" he stopped, looking over to Akira. She was playing with a monkey. He sweat- dropped. "Can we just go?"

"But what about Aki and Kira?"

"Huh?" Zoro wondered.

"This is Aki," she pointed at the monkey that she was playing with, "and this is Kira," she pointed at a bird that were resting on the tree.

"They can come, if you want," Zoro shrugged, not sure what is wrong with the girl.

"Yay!" she cheered, "Aki! Kira! Let's go!" Kira flew off, making Akira sweatdrop. "Aki?" he cheered, hugging Akira. "Alright! Let's go!"

After few moments of walking- Aki and Akira hand in hand- Zoro finally asked the question in his mind. "If you knew I'm a pirate, why did you help me?"

"Because you're not a bad person," Akira said. "You can't be."

"How come?" Zoro asked.

Akira flashed him a smile, "your eyes say it all."
