She closed the book with a sigh of relief "finally, it's done". The 12 paged essay her psychology professor assigned lay completed on her desk, her cramped hand dropping the pen that seemed to smoke.

'Hey, guess who just finished her essay' -Addilyn

'What? Addi its 4am!' -Callie

'Yeah?' -Addilyn

'WE HAVE CLASS IN 3 HOURS!' -Callie

'SHIT, I'll get coffee its fine :3' -Addilyn

'Your way of living is so unhealthy, try and get some sleep you sociopath.'' -Callie

'Don't diagnose me just because you passed the exam' -Addilyn

She shut off her phone and attempted to sleep, passing out on her desk until the gut-wrenching sound of the alarm pulled her from her state of repose.

"Well, don't you look like an extra from the set of The Walking Dead" Callie laughed as Addilyn slung her bag under the desk.

"Have your 'I told you so' moment, and enjoy it" she replied.

"I'll need my head back first, boo", Addilyn rolled her eyes and smiled "God, you're the most annoying person I've ever met".

"Hey, Isaac wants me to meet up with him for lunch, do you mind?" Callie asked.

"Why aren't you two official yet? go get your man" she received a hug from the smaller female as she skipped away happily.

Opening her dorm door, she glanced out of the window after seating herself on the bed that lay beside it, her bed.

Her peace broken suddenly as the door forced itself open, a short haired female bust in holding two suitcases and a backpack.

Addilyn stared in astonishment "oh my god i am so sorry, i was told you wouldn't be back yet" the girl exclaimed "It seems i'm your dorm mate, this is an embarrassing way to introduce myself.." she rubbed the back of her neck shyly.

"Well, in that case? welcome, I'm Addilyn" she stood and helped carry the bags to the empty bed. "I'm Shilo cute uniform" she winked.

"oh..i..this is what i have to wear to my political debate meetings." Addi explained.

"You attend those? That actually sounds really cool, i saw the flyer on my way in" Shilo smiled, opening her suitcase.

"It is," she smiled "Oh, this one is your wardrobe. They don't give us much space but we work with it" pointed out.

"Thank you, who's that?" she nudged her head towards a picture which sat on Addilyn's desk "That's my boyfriend," she paused "ex, thats my ex boyfriend".

"Ouch," Shilo winced "Should I ask?".

Addilyn sat on her bed "He went back to his ex, which is completely okay i'm over it now." she, of course, lied through her teeth.

"Are you? you know, if you're going to lie then at least try and be convincing" Shilo smiled, the two shared an extended glance before being interrupted by Callie "Addi! look what Isa- oh my god, i'm sorry." Shilo dropped her head slightly and exhaled with a smile.

"This is my best friend, Callie," Addilyn sighed "as you can see, she's a constant ball of energy".

Callie folded her arms "why do you always introduce me with such an apathetic look on your face?" "Because I feel bad that i'm no longer the only one who has to deal with you!" Addilyn laughs.

The girls sit and chat for a while before Callie is beckoned by her beloved, once again.

"She's funny, I love her" Shilo commented "Give it time, you'll go back on that statement" Addilyn laughed.

"Perhaps," Shilo smiled "I saw a cute coffee café on the way here, you fancy hanging out there for a couple of hours?" Addi glanced outside, giving her mind a while to consider what response she would give, "I'd love too! i'm interested in you, why here? what are you studying? what type of fish would you be, given the opportunity?".

Shilo laughed "I can easily answer those, apart from the fish one, that will take some thinking time."
