Chapter 3

“So you’re telling me there’s this girl I never met before. . . and she hates me?”

The six heads nodded at me.

I poked my tongue against my cheek. “Really?”

The same heads nodded. “And she hates me because I’m getting all the attention?”

Seungmin leaned back on his chair, sucking a juice box. “Yup pretty much.” He smiled at me.

It’s Friday.

This week felt like a century. It's still weird being at a place so small and not in the big city that I'm used to. I wasn't really settling in. It sure didn't help me feel at home when a freaking a million pairs of attractive peoples eyes were on me.

I was sitting in the cafeteria and eating lunch with the same dudes again. I thought they wouldn't want me sitting with them as I left quite rudely the first day we met. But they don't seem to care and act like nothing happened. And I just played along. Their presence was actually quite nice.

“What’s this lovely person’s name?” I said with fake curiosity.

Apparently there’s this girl that hates me besides us never meeting before. Why am I already making enemies?

“Her name’s Sana. She's the most popular girl at this school. She wants nothing, but all the attention on her. And you my friend are taking away just that.” Felix, with his deep Australian accent, pointed his spork at me.

I made a weird face. Is this girl really that insecure?

It's not like I wanted the attention. I would trade her in a flash so I don't have deal with all these freaking eyes on me.

“Okay. And when do I get to meet this lovely person?” I questioned.

“Uh. . . don't know. She hasn't been at school for a couple weeks for who knows why.” Felix replied.

I scrunch my nose. She's probably moping in her sheets for the attention she so “rightly” deserve.

Oh well. Poor her.

“Hey Alia! Do want to go to a party tonight?” Jisung excitedly ask.

I tilted my head. “A party?”

“Yeah! It's being held at our really good friend’s house. He always throws a party during this time of year so you wanna go?”

I pursed my lips pondering. Do I actually want to go?

I'm down to do something interesting because I'm bored as hell, but a party. . . where everyone will just stare at me. . .

No thank you.

“Nope.” I popped the p, drinking a sip of my milk.

“Why not?” Jisung asks.

“Because I'm not gonna go somewhere and waste my time being started at like I'm some sort of delicious prey.”

“Oh come on! It'll be a lot of fun!” Jisung complained as he holds onto my arm.

I scrunch my nose in disgust. “Get off me.”

“Nope.”

“Get off now.” I tried to move my arm, but his grip was so tight.

He looks so weak, why was he so strong?

“No can do madam- OW HEY WAIT-!” I pulled his ear and he immediately let go. I dragged him all the way to the opposite side of the table and drop him there. I went back to my seat and continue eating my lunch with a smirk.

“That's what you get for messing with me weak boy~”

Jisung huffed and rubbed his now red ears.

Kim Seungmin sighed at Jisung and turned his head to look at me. “I think you should really come to the party tonight.”

I pointed my spork at him. “Do you want me to pull your ears too?”

Seungmin didn't seem scared and instead smiled. “Oh Alia, you won't even get close to my ears as your no match to me.”

I clenched my teeth annoyed. “Do you really want to fight me dandy boy?

Kim Seungmin just smirked and I was about to swing my lunch at him, until Hyunjin intervene.

“Hold up! Wait! Calm down.” He turned his head to Seungmin. “Please don't provoke her.”

Seungmin just shrugged and continue eating his lunch. I clenched my fists in annoyance.

He really was two faced wasn't he?

“Alia,” Hyunjin looked at me. “We really think you should come-”

I stood up with my things and look at the group of guys.

“Why the hell do all want me to go so badly? I said no and that's my final answer.” I walked away from the group and exited the cafeteria.

Gosh I was starting to like them but they just had to be so pushy. What's so great about parties anyways? Waste of time of doing nothing productive and getting drunk.

I walked down the empty hall now knowing where to go. There was still time left before next period started, so I decided to wander around a bit.

I was on the third floor. It was empty and boring looking. Just a bunch of doors that led into classrooms and posters on the walls lined with lockers. Nothing special.

I was about to walk down the staircase when I suddenly stopped.

I felt like someone is staring at me.

I whipped my head behind and there was no one there.

Huh strange?

I turned my head and felt a sharp pain.

"Ow what the-"

I didn't finish what was I gonna say as darkness enveloped me and I blacked out.
