It was now 6:30pm and I was sitting at the bus stop waiting for Genesis to come get me.

"Gen need to hurry up cause this overnight bag making my hand tired plus it seems like it could rain any minute now." I spoke impatiently

June was keeping my company over the phone as he complained about the clients he had today. He is a photographer by profession who also loves to draw and stuff like that; mind you he's very artistic.

We've known each other for about five years through Damon since he's his childhood bestfriend.

June, Damon, Collin and Blue are all friends. Blue my lil side-kick cause he the funny one, Damon is my bro cause he with my sis of course and because he's just like the brother I never had, Collin is just the voice of reason for all of em and June as you already know is my bae.

I can tell you those five years were never always smooth sailing, we were both younger and let's just say he was a wild one. We've broken up quite a few times cause he lied and cheated on me once but somehow, we just always fall back into each other and here we are. My momma knows him and my Grandma a little before she died two years ago. 

His momma Lena is a force to be reckoned with and lets just say we hardlyy! emphasis on HARDLY!; get along. She believes I'm not enough for her son so guess what? a bitch just keeps her distance.

I was about to reply to his message when I felt the rain hit my skin.

"Imma kill Gen if I get soaked today" 

Keeeeekeeeeek!

I heard horns blaring and realized it was Genesis' car

"Thank Goodness" I sighed running to the passenger side then diving in.

" Dang girl... You wet?"

" Almost 'cause you don't learn to be punctual. where the hell you been?"

"You gon do me like that girl, you know the traffic 'round here don't respect nobody and they business"

I squinted my eyes at her damn well knowing she ain't late cause of no traffic.

" Okay okay I had get me some McDonald's and girll it was one helluva line. Des you know I've been craving that since yesterday" she said with her so call puppy face

"Hoe dont give me that sheep face look; and where mines?"

" I got you siss. See, you didnt get wet for nothinggg" She chimed trying to justify.

I shook my head cause all she had, was some damn fries.

Around 7:45 pm

   I was in Genesis' bathroom putting my hair up and putting on my night clothes while talking to my man on video call. We both laughed at Gen who was in her room ranting loudly about Damon and him not having alot of time for her because of work.

"Des girlll, I was tempted once to call his workplace and tell em mothafuckas they can have him"

June and I was laughing but I damn well knew she was serious, she would cuss my ass out if she knew I had him listening to her like that too.

"What the Hell you doing in there so long Des you not shittin' are you"

"Really Genesis and what if I was" I went out after June and I said our Good nights and I love you's.

"Girl you don't be doing number 2 at people's house" she spoke turning her face

I laughed!

"You know what's funny hoe you do number 2 at my house all the damn time so I don't know what you trynna say"

"Sheeeesh girl, dang! Nobody need to know all'at"

I was dying with laugh at this point

  " But enough of all that Des com'ere"

"I'm here girl"

"Miss sit and let me talk to you"

"Okayy okayy I'm sitting. I got a feeling this gon be dramatic lol"

"Girl hush, now hear me out"

" I'm all ears."
